My class visited the art museum in our city by bus yesterday morning. Excitedly, I sat at the front of the bus next to Ms. Kattan, our art teacher. The teacher told us we were going to admire a painting called A Sunday on La Grande Jatte by Georges Seurat, a great French painter in the 19thcentury. It showed a park in France. We had seen pictures of the painting at school. But soon we could see the real thing.

"Afterward, we'll paint our own neighborhood," I heard Ms. Kattan say. I stopped smiling. Our bus just rolled past garbage and old buildings where I lived. I sighed (叹气) and thought, "Nothing to paint here." After a while, we passed tall buildings and planters filled with forever-greens. "We're almost there," I thought.

When we stopped, I jumped off and waved to the stone lions out front. I knew them because my mother worked nearby. But I'd never been inside the museum. It was quiet, like a library. We climbed the stone staircase, and finally, we reached the painting we came to see. It was huge! I spread my arms and tried to measure its size but I failed. "What do you notice?" Ms. Kattan asked the class. "Boats! " "A monkey!" kids said. I shut one eye and turned my head from side to side. "It's not clear," I said. "Why?" "This picture is made with tiny dots (小圆点) of paint." Ms. Kattan said, "This way of painting is called pointillism (点彩派) ."

I called it magic, putting all those dots tight together to show one big wonderful place. I couldn't help imagining I was inside the painting: I rolled in the soft grass, pet a puppy, and dipped my feet into the water. I even turned a sunny umbrella, like one of those fancy ladies in that park. But when Ms. Kattan told us to be inspired for our own paintings at once, I dropped back into the real world. Hearing Ms. Kattan's requirement, every kid started to paint except me.

Ever since its first showing during the 2025 Spring Festival, the Chinese animated (动画的) film "Ne Zha 2" has achieved great success in both box office earnings and merchandise (指定商品) sales.

By February 17, 2025, the film (earn) an amazing 12 billion RMB (about $1.66 billion), ranking among the top movies with the (high）box office in the world. Just nine days after (it) release, "Ne Zha 2" broke through the 6-billion-RMB mark in box office earnings.

The film's success has caused a sharp increase in the sales of related merchandise. According to Taobao's data, (official) licensed "Ne Zha 2" products have made over 50 million RMB in sales. There is a wide variety of merchandise available, among are blind boxes, trading cards, toys, PVC figures, stickers and so on.

The "Ne Zha 2" blind box series (launch) by Pop Mart became very popular and earned over 10 million RMB in just eight days. Another popular item was the trading card set from CardYou. The company sold more than 700,000 units in one week, (make) about 7 million RMB.

If the speaker is difficult to follow, silently repeating their words in your head can strengthen comprehension. Reducing distractions demonstrates respect and ensures you grasp the speaker's true meaning.

Avoid unnecessary interruptions. A good listener gives the speaker undivided attention. Interrupting not only disturbs the flow but also shows disrespect, as it shifts focus to your own thoughts rather than theirs. Instead, maintain eye contact, nod occasionally, and reflect on what is being said.

Be more open-minded. Effective communication requires setting aside personal judgments. Even if you disagree, listening without criticism encourages trust and openness. Besides, it often leads to stronger connections. An open mind promotes better relationships, whether in personal or professional settings.

By staying attentive, responding thoughtfully, and showing respect, we build trust, reduce misunderstandings, and strengthen relationships. These skills not only improve individual interactions but also contribute to a more harmonious society. As the saying goes, "We have two ears and one mouth so that we can listen twice as much as we speak."

However, there is one animal that actually grows strong in these freezing and lonely surroundings: the polar bear. Winter provides the ideal weather conditions for this huge white bear. According to Cam Elliot from the governmental organization named Manitoba Conservation, polar bears are well-suited for winter. These warm-blooded mammals (哺乳动物) spend most of their lives on the frozen seas. As a result, they have adapted to be able to deal with the cold weather. Their thick fur safeguards them from the freezing winds. They possess short tails and small ears, both of which contribute to reducing heat loss. The thick layer of fat helps to protect these animals from the cold and enables them to live for extended periods without eating.

What is particularly attractive about polar bears in the context of conservation is that they are an umbrella species. No other animal hunts on polar bears. Due to their position as "top predators (捕食者)", scientists believe that the well-being of polar bears is directly related to the health of the environment. Global warming might be influencing the ice formations, which are crucial for the survival of polar bears. Any change in the global climate that could affect the stability or the duration of the ice cover on Hudson Bay or the Arctic waters will have an immediate impact on them.

When the ice melts earlier than usual, polar bears may miss out on two weeks of hunting opportunities. This can have a significant effect on their ability to find sufficient food. Another aspect of this situation is that when we establish any protective measures for polar bears, we are also safeguarding the entire ecosystem. In other words, by making the necessary adjustments to ensure the survival of this umbrella species, the world will also be saving various other animals that have the same environmental needs.

Community Outreach Volunteers: Educate the public about the importance of habitat restoration through presentations and community events. Excellent communication skills are a must for this role.

Project Designers: Create visual materials such as brochures, posters and informational flyers to promote our habitat restoration projects. Designers should be skilled in graphic (图形的) design softwares.
