The virtual choir was the idea of award-winning  and conductor Eric Whitacre. Born in the USA on 2 January 1970, Whitacre began studying music at the University of Nevada in 1988. He fell in love  Mozart' s classical music when he sang for the university choir. Moved by this music, he said, " It was like seeing color for the first time. " He  from university in 1995, and then received a master' s degree in musical composition from the Juilliard School in New York in 1997. Over the next 10 years, Whitacre' s  compositions began to become quite popular among choirs and singers. This led to the  of the virtual choir. 

In 2009, Whitacre received a video of a girl who was singing one of his works.  , he asked his fans to  videos, which he then joined together into one performance. His first virtual choir, " Lux Aurumque" , had 185 singers from 12 different countries. It has received millions of  on the Internet. Since then, the virtual choir has become a worldwide phenomenon. Whitacre' s next  was the Virtual Youth Choir for UNICEF, which was first seen on  on 23 July 2014 in the UK. Altogether, 2,292 young people from 80 countries joined in to sing Whitacre' s song " What If" . 

It was at the 2012 1SU World Figure Skating Championships that I first saw Japanese figure skater Hanyu Yuzuru. He was competing in free skating with a piece of music from Romeo and Juliet. I was  (immediate)attracted to his incredible  (perform) along with the expressive music. 

Yuzuru has been  inspiration for me in my years as a senior high school student. In his career ,he  (experience) innumerable difficulties and countless injuries so far. In 2014's ISU Grand Prix, he was badly hurt on the ice due to a collision（碰撞）. Though he was bleeding, he still insisted on  (compete) with no regrets. What's more, in the 2018 Rostelecom Cup in Moscow, he couldn't even walk because of a problem with the ligament (韧带) in his right ankle. But he ended up winning the championship and then  (award) the gold medal. 

Yuzuru has always trained hard despite the suffering from asthma (哮喘). He bravely   (overcome) difficulties so he can dance on the ice and live life to the fullest. From 2012 to 2021,I have been inspired by Yuzuru 's spirit,  has helped me push forward no matter what. When  (face) with any problem that I think l can't handle in life, such as being burdened with homework or when my grades are sliding（下滑）,I watch videos of Yuzuru skating over and over again to search   hope and perseverance. After all, he succeeded against so much uncertainty. So how could I not face my own problems? 

16-year-old Gayowski was determined to seek fun with his friends once the busy school days came to an end. Their 1 was Red Mountain, a ski resort nearby.

The weather started to change. The winds were picking up and clouds 6 overhead. Soon it began snowing. Gayowski went deeper, reaching a 7 , which he wished would lead him to a roadway. 

After he had followed the river for a long distance, Gayowski quitted any 8 of finding his way out. 9 and hungry, his legs were beginning to give out on him. He sat down under a tree, and curled up to 10 himself. Worse still, with the temperature below freezing, his phone was totally dead. 11 , shouts coming behind him cheered him up. Then three 12 in the distance were approaching fast. He was in tears by the time they 13 him. 

Gayowski was more than 14 for their help, otherwise he couldn' t have returned safe and sound. After the incident, he decided to be a rescuer like them. The next time someone is 15 alone in the bush, he wants to be part of the team to save him or her.
