3、Most of us agree that life's real education happens outside the classroom. However, they are not the only ones. In fact, traveling is the best way to learn things. Here are some reasons why traveling is the best form of education.
You learn history. All that was really cool. However, nothing beats traveling to historic landmarks and exploring your way around a city's history and culture. When you visit museums, palaces and galleries, the entire nation's history comes out right in front of you. Learning about different dynasties, conflicts and changes is so much easier when you actually explore a nation.
You learn social skills. You may be shy and find it difficult to engage yourself socially. But traveling will change that as things like talking to strangers are not an option but a necessity during travels. Taking some social skill courses is useful. However, you can achieve it by traveling your way to a wonderful place on your own.
You learn to do new things. When you are traveling, you are forced to do plenty of new things. Therefore, you must learn to be able to adapt to a new learning environment in a very short time. It also helps in your overall learning as well.
Probably the most important aspect of education that travel helps is your education about yourself. By traveling, you realize your true potential, the things that you really enjoy and the person who you really are. Without travel, you probably have a very limited understanding of yourself. And you may even be completely unaware of your real personality.
A. You learn about yourself.
B. You learn a lot by chatting.
C. You are out of your comfort or familiar situation.
D. You'll learn much better than through such courses.
E. You can study about the major historical events in your history class.
F. Classrooms with teachers and textbooks are of course one way to learn.
G. This helps you meet a lot of new people and experience some exciting things.

4、The home of the future won't be completely different and we will be living in houses and flats just as we do today. But people will want to shape their homes to match their dreams. No two homes will be the same. People will be able to buy "house kits" containing a basic house structure, with movable walls, doors and windows. They will put together the different parts to create the home they want.
Many jobs that we do today will disappear, others will still exist but will change and new jobs will be created. Skilled workers such as builders, gardeners and electricians won't disappear because machines can't replace them. Teachers will still exist because students need human contact. But they will be using modern technology in class more and students will be working more at home. The medical technology revolution and space travel will create new jobs which we can only imagine today.
Space holidays will develop in the future, but these holidays won't be for everyone because they won't be cheap. Short space trips will develop first;then space hotels will orbit the earth where it will be possible to have a longer vacation. By the end of the next century, there will have been holiday centres on the moon with leisure facilities (休闲设施) for families.
Paper won't exist in the future. Instead, there will be epaper which people will be able to use over and over again. This will develop in order to save natural resources. Enewspapers and emagazines will replace traditional newspapers and magazines and we will download information and news articles from the Internet every day onto our reusable paper.
The laws of physics tell us that the Earth is going to disappear some time in the future. This isn't going to happen tomorrow but scientists predict that it will happen in five billion years when our sun explodes. We will have to explore the universe and find another home. At some point in the distant future, either we stay on the Earth and die with it, or we leave and move to another planet. There won't be any other choice.

They were well protected.
Since Yellowstone contains many hot springs and the world's largest area of active geysers, Lisa and her friends visited many different geyser sites. Of all of the sites, Lisa and her friends agreed that Old Faithful was the most fascinating. Lisa and her friends waited patiently for the geyser to erupt. Quinn first met Yuan in October 2004, when Yuan traveled to Des Moines in the U.S. state of Iowa to receive the World Food Prize. As they walked out of the airport, Quinn received a call and stepped aside to speak. When he turned back a minute or two later, he lost Yuan. "I had never before ‘lost' a laureate (贵人)," he said. In Quinn's eyes, Yuan was incredibly modest, never seeking fame, and focused only on hard work and results that could help lift people out of poverty. With a ‘down to earth' attitude, Yuan greatly reduced hunger and provided farmers with surplus (多余的) income through his discovery of hybrid rice.
Learning of Yuan's passing away on Saturday, Quinn issued a statement to send his deepest sympathy to Yuan's family and colleagues. So he took the bird in his hands, carried it carefully home and showed it to his parents. At once, his parents took action. They washed the bird and found it injured. With the help of his parents, Albert dressed the wound. But it would need time and care for the bird to completely recover. As the bird had become dear to his heart, Albert immediately offered to care for the bird.
Albert named his new friend "Lucky". He began to feed the bird and he even ran out to collect grass to build a soft nest for the bird. Then, he put the nest beside his bed. Lucky, an extremely patient audience, usually responded to him with a few nods and chirps (叽叽喳喳声). Albert's parents also loved Lucky. They regarded it as a family member.
In the course of time, Lucky gradually recovered and started to hop (脚跳) and jump a little bit and exercise its wings. That made everyone happier. Soon it would be able to fly. How wonderful!
But what then? Albert became thoughtful and started to think. "If Lucky started to fly, it could simply fly away one day." But that would not happen. 19、Three astronauts stationed in China's Tiangong space station are preparing for their return trip in the middle of April, packing up personal items, experimental products and other materials, putting equipment into place and exercising to prepare their bodies for Earth's gravity.
The astronauts, Zhai Zhigang, Wang Yaping and Ye Guangfu, have to tidy up a large number of materials, including goods on the Tianzhou 3 cargo spacecraft, said Zhong Weiwei, an associate researcher at the China Astronaut Research and Training Center.
Living in space about six months, a record in China's history, they have completed more than 20 scientific tasks and will bring back samples with them, according to Zhong.

20、A year after Walt Disney made history with Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, its artists were struggling to find the right design for Bambi, the tale of a young deer. The film's production team realized they needed a style that highlighted almost all of the leaves, flowers and mushrooms in their first feature-length animated(动画的)film.
Soon they got their inspiration from Tyrus Wong, whose work was on display as a new exhibit at New York City's Museum. In 1938, the Walt Disney Studio hired him to draw the frames between the main drawings of the animators. After reading the story of Bambi, he saw an opportunity to break out of his humdrum job. He said to himself "This is all outdoor scenery. And I'm a landscape painter. This will be great!"
Inspired by Chinese landscape paintings, he used watercolor and pastels(蜡笔)to make sketches that bring the feeling of forest scenes with simple strokes of color and special attention to light and shadow. Wong's sketches attracted Disney and became the guide for Bambi's background artists, who were later trained to imitate his style. "His expression was a great leap forward for the medium," writes John Lasseter, the chief creative officer for Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios. "Where other films were literal, Bambi was expressive and emotional." In 2001,Wong was named "Disney Legend", and he received the recognition as the true lead artist.
He pursued art all his life and still made art during his retirement, including toy animals from recycled materials and handmade kites that he regularly flew off the Santa Monica Pier in California. "People admire his works because of Bambi, but Bambi was just a really small part of his life," says his youngest daughter. "He considers himself not a great artist but a lucky artist, who was at the right place at the right time."
(1)、Why did Walt Disney's artists notice Tyrus Wong?A、He was good at drawing cartoon characters. B、He won a prize at a museum in New York. C、His style was suitable for the animated film Bambi. D、His work could be used to advertise Walt Disney's films(2)、What does John Lasseter think of Tyrus Wong's paintings?A、They were literal and detailed. B、They conveyed thoughts effectively. C、They showed the legend of Walt Disney. D、They displayed the progress of the medium.(3)、What can we learn about Tyrus Wong from the last paragraph?A、He was devoted to art during his lifetime. B、He had been busy his whole life. C、He gave up art after retirement. D、He liked to purchase toys and kites.(4)、How does the author introduce Tyrus Wong?A、By analyzing cause and effect. B、By making comparisons. C、By following time order. D、By listing examples.
