Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you are a nature enthusiast or simply someone who wants to offer a helping hand, we have a role for you. Some of the available volunteer positions are as follows.

Field Workers: Assist with planting native trees, removing weeds, and maintaining the restored areas. No prior experience is required, but a willingness to work outdoors is essential!

Monitoring Specialists: Help us track the progress of our restoration projects by monitoring the growth of plants, the presence of wildlife, and water quality. This position requires some knowledge of biology or environmental science.

Community Outreach Volunteers: Educate the public about the importance of habitat restoration through presentations and community events. Excellent communication skills are a must for this role.

Project Designers: Create visual materials such as brochures, posters and informational flyers to promote our habitat restoration projects. Designers should be skilled in graphic (图形的) design softwares.

Up until he met his university professor, Fang Jianze always believed he would never be able to do anything on his own. In January 2020, when he put on his first diving suit and began his training, he found himself in a pool of emotions.

In order to build up his physical strength, Fang began riding his bike 5 km every day, covering more than 600 km in half a year. On August 19th,2020, Fang Jianze got the world's 2075th Disabled Divers Certification, and became China's first certified diver with muscle disease.

Since becoming an accomplished diver, Fang sees the world from an entirely new point of view. Now, he has the confidence and ability to help others overcome their own doubts and fears. In 2020 alone, he helped to upgrade more than 20 facilities (设施) for people with disabilities in various ways in Guangzhou.
