One of my most interesting experiences while travelling was in India. My sister and I had just finished a tour of northern India and had 5 hours before (get) on a train back to New Delhi. We spent the past 5 days  our driver, so we knew him quite well. Since we had checked out of our hotel, had our last meal and seen all the sights we cared to see, we (ask) the driver to just take us to the train station. He would not want  (leave) us alone for 5 hours at the station. So he took us to his  (uncle) house. When we arrived, we saw that we were going into a Persian rug warehouse(波斯地毯货栈). We thought we were going to be forced to buy expensive rugs.

A young woman from South China's Guangxi Province has helped local farmers sell their kumquats(金橘) through live streaming(直播) in online shops and also creates many job opportunities(机会). 

Lai Yuanyuan comes from a family from the village of Fule in Rong' an, Guangxi. 

Like many other people in the village, her parents used to sell their farm produce at a low price because it was difficult for them to get to the market. 

After coming back from her studies in Korea in 2018, Lai began to consider what she could do to improve the living standard(水平) of local farmers and help them make more money. 

Lai decided to make her idea come true when she found that their future must depend on live commerce(贸易) and the fast growing express delivery(快递) industry.

Thanks to her efforts, now local people have a good market and become richer than before.

I hope when you read this letter you don't find my writing too messy! At the moment, I'm 15 years old and living at home with my family. I love school and have lots of good friends. We do lots of fun things together like parties, ice skating and swimming. My biggest worry is not doing well in my school exams, but I'm working really hard so I have nothing to worry about.

My Opinion About Garbage-Sorting

On July 1st 2019, Shanghai introduced a new garbage-sorting regulation(法规). Everyone in the city must now sort his or her garbage. This sounds like great idea. But I wonder—— Will this regulation  (follow) by people idea.

In fact, most Chinese  (city) already have these recycling. options(选择). Outside of my apartment building, there  (be)three bins— kitchen waste, recyclable waste and other waste.  most people just put the garbage into whatever bin they want. 

Look, I understand. Sorting garbage  (correct) can be hard. For example, not everyone knows the difference between wet garbage and  (harm) garbage. And it takes time  (put) it into the right bin. How can we deal   this problem? Actually, it can be done. In some US cities, every family must sort the garbage. If they don't, they  (pay) a fine. 

Personally, I don't think it would be hard for me to sort my garbage. 

My family and I rushed our dog Max to the Emergency Vet(兽医诊所)at midnight after she ate a  (塑料的) bag by accident. It nearly (杀死) Max. However, this is not the only case, In fact, thousands of animals lose their lives every year because they mistake plastic bags for food.
