    Watercolour painting is very popular with artists, whether they are good at painting or just starting out. Watercolour paint is dry and hard. When you add (添加) water to it, you can paint easily on paper.

    People often use thick(厚的) paper for watercolour painting. Thick paper can take in the water from the paint. Then the paint will not run around or go through the paper.

    Artists can make the colour light or dark by using more or less water.I f you put more water on your paintbrush, the colour will be lighter(更轻的). If you want a darker colour, just use a little water. Watercolour tools(工具) are light and easy to carry outside.P aintings made with watercolour dry fast too. So many artists use watercolour to draw quick pictures or study nature.
