Everyone considers soccer for young people not for all ages because it needs stamina (耐力) and strength. But a group of old players in Chongqing is showing that it may never be too1 to play.

With an average2 of 68, the Chongqing Senior Men's Soccer Team, built in 1983, has men aged between 54 and 83. Every Tuesday and Thursday at 8 a.m., they gather for3 and matches.

"We come for health and happiness," said 70-year-old team leader Yao Shuyun. "It's more like a happy get-together than serious training." Most players4 in love with soccer as children. On January 8, 2024, a strong earthquake hit Ngari Prefecture (阿里地区), Tibet. The earthquake brought great danger and loss. Many houses fell down, and people lost their homes. Some were even trapped (受困的) under the broken buildings. But soon after the earthquake, love and help came from all over China. 

Right away, the government sent teams of soldiers and doctors to the earthquake-hit areas. They worked day and night to save people. Some soldiers carried heavy things to find people under the ruins (废墟). Doctors gave medical treatment to the injured. They didn't care about their own tiredness. They just wanted to save more lives. 

People from other cities also showed their love. They sent food, water, warm clothes, and tents to help those in need. Many volunteers traveled to Tibet to help. They cooked meals for the homeless, talked with the sad children, and helped with many small things. A young volunteer named Li Hua said, "I just want to do something to make them feel better."

In a school in the earthquake area, teachers tried their best to look after the students. They stayed with the children, told them stories, and made them feel safe. One little girl said, "My teacher hugged me and said everything would be okay. I felt less afraid."

The earthquake was a disaster (灾难), but it brought people together. It showed that when trouble comes, love and kindness are always stronger. People's help made the people in Tibet feel warm and hopeful. They knew they were not alone. 

How did you spend your last holiday? Did you just stare at a screen all day? Well, you're not alone. According to a new survey, on average (平均), Chinese people now spend 337 minutes on the Internet daily!

①Nowadays, artificial intelligence (AI) tools like DeepSeek are becoming very popular. They bring big changes to our life, especially in learning and working.

②DeepSeek has great technology. For example, its language models can answer lots of questions well. In learning, students can use it to get more knowledge. When they have problems in subjects like History, Maths or Science, they can ask DeepSeek for help. At work, it makes employees (雇员) better at analyzing data (数据). Managers can use it to guess what will happen in the market, and writers can find ideas from it to write better things.

③But, while DeepSeek gives us so much handiness, there are also problems. Some students depend too much on it and just copy the answers it gives. This is really wrong. In fact, with the growth of AI, we need to pay more attention to making our creativity better. In the future, jobs that need people to do the same thing over and over again will be taken by AI. Only those who are really creative can do well. For example, in art design, designers should use their own ideas to make great works instead of just using what AI makes. In science, researchers need to think of new ideas to find out things we don't know.

④So, we should see AI as a useful tool, not something that does our thinking for us. We must work on growing our creativity by keeping learning and practicing to get ready for the future.

Of all the jobs out there, "relic doctors (文物医生)" may be seldom talked about. But they are the heroes that help people to understand their ancestors (祖先) and  .

In March, 2023, a relic repairing competition was held in Taiyuan, China. Over 200 people from 27 provinces  in the competition. In the competition, they showed their excellent skills and rich knowledge.

This was the  competition to be held after the 2018 and 2021 competitions. There were 1.86 million relics in the Palace Museum. Thanks to hard work of people, piece by piece had been returned to its first beauty.

Many Chinese people were surprised to  about the job. But they were even more surprised by the spirit of the  and their excellent skills. Even though they faced many difficulties, they never gave  .

Of course, repairing relics is no easy job. People need to be  and work carefully because one small mistake can break  ancient work of art. What's more, people must have a strong  and have a variety of experiences and abilities. They should know about different kinds of materials, such as rubber, paper, silk and wood. They should also know  to improve their skills and the speed of repairing relics.
