Watching clouds doesn't need much. It is just something so3 that we are often blind to it. We see clouds every day, but we seldom stop to enjoy their beauty. They 4 slowly above our heads. 

Zheng is a 25-year-old girl. She is known as the" Cloud Collector". She started to share cloud5 online in 2022. At first, she only wanted to share those beautiful moments with more people. One of her best 6 happened during a flight(飞行). It was the first time she saw a special light called a"glory"(宝光). It was such a7 , " she said. "I had never imagined that before. "

As more people became interested in her photos, Zheng8 to show more scientific knowledge. And she 9 sharing her knowledge with others. Now she10 hopes to encourage more people to enjoy the beauty of the sky. She believes that everyone can find their own" glory"if they just take a moment to look up. 

Cui Shengyu, a 15-year-old student from Jilin Province, is really popular online and his dance videos have millions of views. He recently won the break dancing championship(冠军) in Vietnam. But behind this success lies years of hard work. 

The training was never easy. Cui practised for six hours every weekend. On school days, he followed a strict morning timetable: he woke up at 5:30 a. m. to run for 20 minutes, then spent 40 minutes practising basic moves before leaving for school. His knees(膝盖) often had purple marks. His hands hurt from supporting his body weight. "I fell down hundreds of times and it hurt, " Cui remembered. "But I got up again. I told myself: pain means progress. Each fall taught me how to land more safely and my moves became better after every practice. "

In August 2023, Cui won his first international(国际的) gold medal at the ISF U-15 Gymnasiade in Brazil. It was the first time a Chinese student had won break dancing gold internationally. In the past two years, he won several more championships. 

Now Cui is preparing for the next game in Serbia. "My goal is to show Chinese street dance to the world, " he said. "I want to see the Chinese flag rising in more competitions. And I hope I can take part in the Olympic events in the future. "

On March 21, about 30 international students from Shenzhen University visited OCT Wetland Park in Nanshan District. This park is an important stop for migratory birds (候鸟) from around the world. Those birds fly a long way from one country to another. 

The visit started the 2026"APEC China Year" programme. It helps young people from different countries share ideas about environmental protection. At the showroom, volunteer (志愿者) teacher Xie Yunwen gave a talk in English. She explained the importance of wetlands and how people protect birds there. She also talked about mangroves—special trees that grow near the sea. Students learned how the wetland changed from farmland to a protected natural park. 

After the talk, students went outside to watch birds. They used binoculars to see more than 10 kinds of birds far away. They watched how these birds built their homes and looked for food. 

In the sharing time, Yulia from Russia talked about waste-sorting (垃圾分类) in different countries. She said people should use less plastic. Milana, another Russian student, has studied birds in Northern Europe. She said OCT Wetland is a great place for bird protection. 

The programme will continue until November. Students will visit more places on Earth Day and World Environment Day. 

Starting from 2025, middle school students in China began enjoying new spring and autumn holidays. The spring break usually comes around Tomb Sweeping Day. The autumn break is in November. Each break lasts two to three days. It can last five to eight days when put together with weekends. 

The government wants to give students more time to rest and help them feel less worried about school. "Spring break is good for students' health, eyesight and mood, " said Shi Ai, a school leader in Sichuan. The policy (政策) also tries to help family travel and make business better. 

Students, parents, and tourism all get help from it. Ma Xingzhi, a third-grader from Chengdu, travelled to Wuzhen with his parents. "I felt happy because there was no homework. It was just fun, " he said. His mother said the same, "We could travel before the busy season to stay away from too many people. "

Schools cannot give written homework during the break. Bosses and companies are encouraged to let parents work at different times so they can be with their children. The number of people buying flight tickets from Chengdu rose by 50% during the first spring break in April 2025. 

The policy, first tried out in Zhejiang in 2004, is now spreading across the whole country. "Unique life experiences outside school can help students grow, " said education expert (教育专家) Lin Li. 

Shenzhen is a young city, but it has a surprising treasure. About 1, 700 ancient trees still grow here.  . They also provide homes for birds and help clean the air we breathe. 

In Longgang District, there is a famous group of ancient banyan trees.  . It has a thick trunk and wide branches that cover an area of 1, 000m². People often visit it and learn about its long history. 

 . City building and dirty air harm them. Many trees are now sick or dying. Some old trees have even fallen down in heavy storms. 

To help more people care about tree protection, Shenzhen has started using new technology. Each ancient tree now has a special code on its trunk. . By learning about their long history, more people begin to understand the importance of tree protection.  . 

The koel(噪鹛)is an often-seen bird in Shenzhen parks. Every summer, its loud calls wake people up early in the morning. 

Recently, some students at a middle school in Nanshan wrote a letter to their head teacher. They said that the koel's"ko-el, ko-el"sound made them feel (bore) during morning classes. They could not pay attention to their lessons and (prefer) to study in silence. 

The head teacher wrote back wisely. In his letter, he did not accept(接受) such (treat) of the bird. But he encouraged the students (think) about the bird's role in nature. "The koel (it) is a guest in our city, "he wrote. "It (eat) insects that harm trees. This is good for our environment. "

He also explained that the koel is  unique protected animal in Shenzhen. "We should learn to communicate  nature, not fight against it, "he added. "(probable), you can close the windows. "

The students read the letter and talked about it in class. Some still found the noise bad,  others began to see the bird differently.
