Hello, friends! I'm Jack. I'm in Hongxing Middle School. There are many 1 in my school. Students can have great fun in these clubs.

I like playing chess, 2 I am a member of the chess club. Playing chess makes me 3 . The club has 4 on Tuesday and Thursday. Our teacher is Mr White. He teaches us how to play chess. He is very 5 . We all like him. The music club is my favourite. I go to the club on Saturday and Sunday. We learn how to 6 and dance from Miss Green.

Frank is my good friend at school. He joins two clubs too. He is good 7 swimming, so he joins the swimming club. He 8 joins the art club. It is fun for him to draw with his friends.

A music festival is coming. All the students in the 9 club need to prepare well for it. And next week, there is a chess game for me to join in. So I'm very 10 these days. But I think my school days are really interesting.

My name is Gina. I am a student of No. 2 Middle School. There is a new library in our school. It is large and clean. Also, it is my favourite place. 

The library is a building with 3 floors. The classroom building is on the left of it. The teachers' building is in front of it and the art building is behind it. On its right is the science building. 

In the library, the reading room is on the ground floor. I can borrow books and do some reading here. There are a lot of bookcases on the first floor. A lot of books are in them. On the second floor is the office. 

The library is open from 2:00 p. m. to 7:00 p. m. We can only go there from Tuesdays to Fridays. It closes on Mondays. 

After school, I often spend an hour there. I like books on history and Chinese. Sometimes, I go there with some of my good friends. We do some reading or do our homework. When we are in the library, time goes quickly. 

It is Saturday, but I go to school as usual. I go to play football. I am in our school team and we are going to play against another school next week. 

The practice starts at 10 a. m. We all arrive as early as we can so that we have time to warm up. We are training harder than usual because the other team beat (打败) us last year. This year we want to do better. 

It is more difficult to practise in winter because the days are short and the weather is cold, too. It gets dark earlier, so it is important not to be late for after- school practice. 

Our coach (教练) is happy because we are playing better as a team now. Last year we were sometimes careless when we passed the ball and we lost (输) to the other team in the final match. What a pity! This year we are training more carefully. That means we have a better chance of winning, 

The fan club has fewer people this year. We hope to play well so that we have more fans to watch the matches. It is good to have our fans around. They cheer us on loudly and we feel more confident to win the game. 

Last Sunday, my friends and I went on an adventure with the Hiking Club. The night before, I was so (excite) that I could not sleep! I got up really early on Sunday morning. After breakfast, I packed my lunch and left home (quick). I(hurry) to school and met the other students and Mr Li, our trip leader. When we were all there, we left for Lucky Island. 

The boat ride to Lucky Island was really exciting! We saw a lot of fish and colourful(bird). When we got to Lucky Island, we went on a long walk and saw some pretty flowers. we walked for a while, we were very hungry! We sat on the beach and ate our lunch. After that, we played games and(take) photos. I really enjoyed(me). Finally, it was time (go) home. What  wonderful experience! Next Sunday, we will climb (爬) Stone Mountain with the Hiking Club. I can't wait  my next adventure!
