Shenzhen is a big and modern city. It is in the1 of China. In Shenzhen, you can see a lot of tall buildings and busy traffic. Many young people live and work there. There are many tunnels and some subways, so it is very 2 to go to work by subway. But about thirty years ago, everything was3 . There weren't4 tall buildings. Shenzhen was a5 village. In the 1980s, people came to Shenzhen from all over the country. They worked hard. They made the city more and more beautiful.

Helen Keller was a great woman writer. When she was a baby, she got very sick. After many weeks, the doctor said. "She is better, but now she can't hear. " Her mother and father were very sad. After a few years, things got worse(更糟). There was no way for Helen to speak to other people. She heard nothing. She saw nothing. She didn't understand anything. Then one day, a teacher came to live with Helen and her family. The teacher helped Helen learn about words. Helen was a clever-child and soon she learned to spell her first word. Helen was very famous. She was blind and deaf, but she found out a w av to see and hear. She helped many blind and deaf people.

Virtual reality(VR) is not new. It has been around for more than 50 years. But it is getting better and becoming more popular. Many teachers are starting to use VR in class.

Monica is a third-grade teacher, her students saw the 1969 moon handing with VR. "Some students were nervous. They thought they were going to get dizzy(头晕的)." Monica said, "But they loved it."

Katelyn was 10 when she tried it. She liked going to the moon better than looking at pictures of the event. "It was so cool and so lifelike." She said.

Some parents and teachers think many schools do not have enough money for the headsets(头戴式视图器) and it may be too much technology for young eyes and young minds. What do you think?

At our school, playing sports is super fun and an important part of school life. We have a big playground so we can do all kinds of sports

At PE lessons, we learn different sports. One of t h re most popular sports is soccer. We run around the field,trying to kick the ball into the goal. It's, exciting when we score(得分)! We also play basketball. Some students are very good at it and can make long-distance shots.

Volleyball is another great sport we do. We have to work together as a team, passing the ball over the net.Everyone tries their best to keep the ball in the air and make it land on the other side of the court.

Every year, our school holds a sports meeting. It's usually in May. All the students are excited about it. They take part in different events, such as running, jumping and relay races.

Sports not only make us healthy but also teach us important things. We learn how to work in a team like when we play soccer or volleyball. We also learn to be persistent(坚持不懈的), just like when we keep running in a long-distance race even if we' re tired.
