Shortly after I arrived in France, my phone was stolen. 

I was taking a trip by 1 . After knowing my phone was gone and I had missed the last train into the city, I 2 to spend the night at the train station. The workers there were very kind, assuring (向……保证) me their country was 3 . However, I still felt a little 4 and didn't want to take the bus in the dark.

How to Become Fit?

Healthy eating habit along with regular exercise is the only way to become fit. If you have the correct number of calories and exercise regularly, you will lose weight, keep fit, and feel great, too.

During your teenage years, it is important to give your body the energy it needs. If you skip (跳过) meals, you won't get enough calories, and then you will feel tired. By the way, calorie is just another word for energy. About 50% of your calories should come from rice, bread, vegetables and fruit. You also need to drink a lot of water, 6 to 8 glasses a day. Water helps keep your system clean. Drinking enough water will make your skin better and make you healthy.

Exercise is something that can help to make you look good, feel good and be healthy. Experts suggest that teenagers spend at least 30 minutes exercising, five times a week. That is easy to do! You can walk or ride your bike to school, and do sports at school. However, teenagers often give up sports, saying they have no time left after their studies. In fact, doing exercise can help them sleep better at night and increase their ability to focus on their study.

If you follow the suggestions above, you will look and feel much better and become fit.

David is a college student（大学生）. Last year he went on vacation to Yunnan with his cousin, Cindy.

 David liked the weather there. It was not cold or hot. It was really fine. Cindy liked all kinds of flowers there.

After two weeks, they went to Dali by train.  They also knew about many local customs（风俗）.

One week later, David and Cindy took the bus to Lijian—a beautiful town. They visited Jade Dragon Snow Mountain（玉龙雪山）. They also visited the old town of Lijiang. There were many interesting stores and restaurants there. And Cindy bought many presents（礼物）for her sister Mary and her brother Bill. David had to come back to the college so they only stayed in Lijiang for one week.

David likes Lijiang so much.

David, a 15-year-old boy from England, lives in Shanghai with his parents now. He is very healthy. , he had some bad habits in the past. He liked to stay up late and he usually played computer games on the  at night. In the morning, he got up late and didn't eat breakfast. For lunch and dinner, he ate junk food. He liked eating candies very much and he  ate them every day. And he hardly ever exercised.  his parents asked him to do sports, he never listened.

Last year, David often felt tired. His parents were worried about his , so they took him to the hospital. The doctor told David that he was in poor health (健康欠佳). Then David decided to do something. "I'll try to spend  time on the computer," he said. "I'll try to eat healthy food. And I'll get up early and exercise at least  a week. Besides, I will do the housework with my parents ."

Now he loves doing sports. After dinner, he often helps his parents with the . On weekends, he hardly ever plays computer games. He also loves reading some English  such as Time in his free time. These good habits help him keep healthy.

I am going to share with you my unforgettable experience of taking part in the Hangzhou Asian Games.

As a volunteer, I was lucky enough to see the passion and dedication(奉献) of the athletes, as well as the warmth and hospitality(好客) of the Hangzhou people. This event not only gave me a chance to learn a lot about the world, but also taught me valuable life lessons that I will remember forever.

The Hangzhou Asian Games, held from September 23rd to October 8th, was a wonderful sports event. Athletes and spectators (观众) were brought together from all over the world because of the games.

As a volunteer, I had the opportunity to do something in different aspects of the games, including event management, logistics, and customer service. My job was to help the athletes and officials with the daily activities, and to make sure that they had a smooth and enjoyable experience during their stay in Hangzhou. 

Because of the games, athletes from all around the world came to China and saw the rapid development of Hangzhou. They enjoyed the food here very much. I felt so happy and proud to be a Chinese when talking about our country with those foreign friends.
