Sea turtles (海龟) are cute animals, but they are in danger of going extinct (灭绝的). That's mainly because many people kill them for food.

But this news may stop those people: Dr Nichols and other scientists have found that sea turtles take in a lot of pollution from the sea. It is bad for both sea turtles' and humans' health. Many people get sick and even die from eating sea turtle meat.

People in America don't usually have sea turtles on their dinner table. They think eating sea turtles is gross (令人恶心的). Also, all the seven kinds of sea turtles are protected by law. “But some people around the world still eat them,” explained Dr Nichols. “At first we wanted to save sea turtles; now we want to save people, too.”

Dr Nichols wants to send the information to people who still think sea turtle meat is good food. And he wants people to understand a bigger message: we should protect the sea. “The health of the sea, the health of the animals in the sea, and our own health all have close relationships. For a long time we didn't really realize it,” said Dr Nichols. “Now it's clear that a clean sea is really good for us because of the food we eat from there.”

(1)、What's the main reason for sea turtles' going extinct?

A、Many people kill them for food. B、The sea water is too cold for them. C、The pollution in the sea is very serious. D、There are few foods for them in the sea.

(3)、Why don ‘t Americans usually eat sea turtles?

① They think it's gross to eat them.

    ② They are too expensive.

③ They don't know how to cook them.

④ They are protected by law.

    A、①② B、①④ C、②③ D、②④
(4)、What does the underlined word “information” refer to?

A、There should be more laws to protect sea turtles and humans. B、People should protect sea turtles and themselves by stopping eating sea turtles. C、Some people around the world still eat sea turtles, although they're unhealthy. D、There are close relationships between the sea, the animals in the sea and humans.
(5)、According to the passage, Dr Nichols may agree that ________.

A、most food we eat is from the sea B、there will be more fish in the clean sea C、we must try our best to make the sea clean D、our health is more important than the health of the sea

Computers are useful machines. They can help people a lot in their daily life. For example, they can help people to save much time to do much work, and they can help people to work out many problems they can't do easily. Our country asks everyone to learn to use computers before the twenty-first century, except the old people. Today more and more families own computers. Parents buy computers for their children. They hope computers can help them improve their studies in school. Yet, many of their children use computers to play games, to watch video or to sing that computers can not help children to study but make them fall behind. So computers are locked in boxes by parents. In some other countries, even some scientists also hate computers.
