"Grandma, what's this?" Lila asked, holding up the journal. Grandma's eyes lit up. "That's my diary from when I was your age. I wrote down every adventure I had with your great-aunt Mabel when we were kids. "

Lila's curiosity grew. She opened the journal and saw neat, curly handwriting. The first entry was about a summer when Grandma and Mabel spent weeks building a treehouse in the big oak tree behind their house. They collected old wood, painted it bright yellow, and even hung a tiny

"Did you finish the treehouse?" Lila asked eagerly. Grandma smiled. "We did! We spent every sunny afternoon there, reading books, eating lemonade, and planning our future trips. It was our secret place.

The gray cub(幼崽) lived in a cave with his mother, a she-wolf. Each day he grew, learning more about the world outside their home.

Soon the cub went out again. Every day he went further from the cave. He didn't get lost. But a time of hunger came. Neither he nor his mother found food. Then finally his mother brought home some strange meat——a lynx(山猫) kitten.

Later the cub lay sleeping by his mother's side when a deep snarl came. There in the front of the cave stood the mother lynx. A terrible fight followed. The lynx cut with her claws and teeth, the she-wolf with her teeth. The cub joined in, biting the lynx's back leg again and again, which helped his mother.

At last, the lynx was dead. But the she-wolf was very weak. She lay by the dead animal's side for a day and a night without moving. The she-wolf and the cub ate the lynx each day and soon their wounds healed(痊愈).

The gray cub went out for food with his mother now. He learned how she killed animals and started to help her. And he learned the law of meat. There were two kinds of life: those that could be eaten, and those that could eat him. The law was: EAT, OR BE EATEN.

He saw the law working all around him. He ate the lynx kitten. The lynx mother wanted to eat him, but he and his mother ate her first. And so it went on. He was a killer and his only food was meat.

On solar farms, there are many solar panels(太阳能板) standing in the sun. They need sunlight to make electricity. However, if grass grows too tall, it will stop sunlight from reaching the panels. Now many solar farms practise solar grazing by keeping sheep there. Sheep eat grass, walking safely between the panels without breaking anything

Solar grazing has many benefits. First, it is friendly to the environment. In the past, people used gas-powered machines to cut the grass. But they were bad for the environment. When sheep come to eat grass, people do not need to use these machines any more. It saves gas and also reduces air pollution. Second, farmers save money on cutting grass and feeding sheep. At the same time, more money comes from selling sheep and other products. Besides, local schools and community groups can visit these farms and learn about green farming and energy. It also teaches young people to care for the environment

Though solar grazing might seem like an easy win, there can be challenges. For one thing, the sheep stay quietly in one place around the panels, but they should move often to keep the grass under control. This means farmers need to move both the fences and the sheep from time to time. For another, sheep are easily attacked and harmed by animals like wolves, bears and lions. The fences are not strong enough to keep dangerous animals away. What's more, some farms have poor-quality grass. It is not healthy for sheep, so they cannot grow strong or work well. That's why not every solar farm is ready for sheep.

If people want to make full use of solar grazing, they may need to make changes. Some new companies are trying different high-tech tools to make it easier and faster to manage sheep on solar farms.

    (1)、What is solar grazing?
A、Protecting solar panels on solar farms. B、Reducing sunlight reaching solar panels. C、Cutting grass with machines on solar farms. D、Raising sheep under solar panels on solar farms.
(2)、Which of the following are mentioned as the benefits of solar grazing?

①Reduce air pollution.  ②Bring more money to farmers.

③Give local schools green energy.  ④Teach children to protect the environment.

    A、①②③ B、①②④ C、①③④ D、②③④
(3)、What is the writing route(路径) of the passage?
    A、Introduce a new practice→list good points→discuss difficulties→offer possible solutions B、Raise a problem→give different opinions→explain the reasons→draw a final conclusion C、Compare ways of cutting grass→ show their advantages→find out problems→give advice D、Describe an experiment→present results→find weaknesses→suggest new tools
(4)、What will the writer most probably talk about next?
A、How we use gas-powered machines to cut grass. B、What kinds of animals we should keep on the solar farm C、What new technologies people should use in solar grazing. D、How much money we can save by using sheep on a solar farm

However, he5 took a quick look at the map before setting off. I advised reading the map to plan the route but he refused.

Sanxingdui boosted during the late Shang Dynasty and had a highly developed bronze culture. However, there is no written  of this civilization (文明), so we once knew very little about it.

For years, experts have been trying hard to solve the behind Sanxingdui. One big of them is that the Sanxingdui civilization disappeared suddenly.

Hundreds of jade(玉), bronze, and things were broken, burned and buried. Then the civilization disappeared. Where did its people go? What happened to them?

Around the same time, a similar civilization in Jinsha, about 38 kilometers from Sanxingdui. Experts generally accept that the Jinsha civilization is a continuation(延续) of the Sanxingdui culture. , the reason for the move remains a secret.

Wars? Floods? After the 2008 Wenchuan earthquake, Fan Niannian, a scientist studying rivers at Sichuan University suggested that the actual might have been a big earthquake.

He . "The earthquake may not have destroyed Sanxingdui directly. Instead, it could have caused a landslide(山崩) that changed the direction of the Minjiang River. This would have cut off the water supply. Without water, the Sanxingdui people had no choice but to move. "

Professor Fan's idea  sense, but it still doesn't explain why they broke and buried their treasures instead of taking them away.

Was it part of a sacrificial ceremony(祭祀仪式)? There is proof suggesting that they did not do it in a hurry—— it was done with purpose. That's what still remains so mysterious.

In the spring festival of 2026, the traditional fish lanterns became a fashion again.  (see) the fish lanterns, many people went to Anhui, the birth place of this folk art.

The fish lantern is made of bamboo and paper with light inside. Many years ago, these lanterns (use) to celebrate Chinese New Year. They are beautiful, they were not widely known before.

This centuries-old fish lantern (sudden) became a fashion because of cultural tourism. Many ancient towns in Anhui provide special fish lantern (activity) for tourists now. Tourists can touch heads of fish lanterns, lift the fish tails and join parades with their own hand-made fish lanterns. People do all these things good luck, because they believe the lively fish can bring happiness to their families. This makes the fish lantern (popular) than before. And it appears in fashion magazines and on the screens of Times Square, which introduces Chinese culture to people around the world.

The fish lantern shows the beauty of Chinese culture and (bring) people together across different countries. By keeping this tradition alive and sharing it with the world, we' ve made (we) culture shine globally—— and we should be proud of ourselves.
