As  the  study  shows,  kids  from  China  spend  a  little  time  doing  chores.  Now,  our  country  is paying attention to labour(劳动) education. Here are what chores kids at different ages should do.

During holidays, many people like to travel. They may go to the countryside for fresh air or to the big city to enjoy shopping. But now there's a new way of travelling in China: industrial tourism. This means visiting factories during holidays, not just relaxing or spending money.

Hu Si tried it during the May Day holiday in 2026. She and her friends visited a rice wine(酒)factory. They watched how to make huangjiu and tasted special drinks like huangjiu-flavoured(有……味道的) milk tea. She said it was a new experience to learn something while travelling.

Industrial tourism started in Europe around the 1950s and came to China in the 1990s. Now, it is becoming favoured there. Over 1,000 industrial tourist places are in China now. For example, the Tsingtao Beer Museum (青岛啤酒博物馆) had 1.8 million tourists in 2025.

Why do people love it? Because it's fun! You can do many activities in the factories, like making cakes, watching robots build cars, or enjoying 3D shows. These make trips exciting. Also, this kind of trips help build trust(信任) between factories and customers. If people see how the workers make products, they will trust the products more.

"Time to get up!" I don't want to get up. It isn't time to get up.

"Come on, get out of bed," says Dad. "I need your sheets(床单)."Oh, right. It's Saturday, Laundry(洗衣物) Day. Dad has a new idea. He washes clothes and sheets by hand, especially in summer. Then I have to hang all of them on the rope in the yard. It seems like a lot of work. And it means I can't get up late on Saturday.

Dad gets the washing started early. That way all the clothes can be dry by the end of the day. "Up," says Dad as he starts taking the sheets off the bed. I drop off the bed onto the floor. "Go and hang this!" Dad drops a wet sheet on me. It's so cold!

After I hang up the sheet, I come inside and find Dad in the kitchen. Dad sits down across from me after making some biscuits. "Why so angry? You know we have to do the laundry, right? And do you realize that I collect the laundry, wash it, take it off the rope and put it away?" I am starting to feel guilty, with my face red. "And you have to help out around here, right?" "I know, Dad. I also know that by hanging the clothes instead of using machines, we can save more energy." Dad is glad that I remember all that.

I'm quiet for a minute. I think I have to stop complaining(抱怨) about hanging the rest of the clothes.

①Do you know the job of a travel experience officer? It's an interesting and cool job. Travel experience officers go to different places. They try many travel things, such as comfortable hotels and delicious food. They do many activities, like hiking in mountains or joining in festivals. Then they share their real feelings with others. They use words, pictures, or videos(视频). This helps people plan trips better, like where to stay and what to see.

②To do this job, you don't need a high education(教育), but your love for travel. You should know different kinds of travel, from cheap trips to expensive vacations. Good writing skills help you share experiences better. Photo or video skills let you show how beautiful places are. You must notice small things, like a hotel's service(服务) or the best time to visit a place. Record every great moment during the trip and write in a fun way. This job also needs a healthy body.

③Why is this job great? Because every trip is a new experience. One day you might stay by the sea, and the next day you might climb an old mountain. You' ll meet friends from other countries, learn their cultures, and see amazing sights. It's a wonderful way to see the world and share happy stories and useful advice. However, the job is not always easy. It has its problems. Bad weather or transport problems may happen. You must deal with(处理) any problems.

It's wonderful to take a trip with your family. You can have a happy family time and also enjoy something new. But do you know how to plan a family trip?

I put down Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. But I kept 1 the exciting story in my mind. The book was full of magic. But Charlie's happy family was the most2 part of the story.

I couldn't understand my father at that time. Now ten years later, he still loves the food my mother cooks, although she doesn't become a good cook . I come to know that no one is perfect, but love matters.

My name is Andy. My grandparents live in small village. It is quiet and beautiful. I grew up there. Later, I am in middle school and live somewhere else with my parents. I miss my grandparents very much, so I visited them this summer vacation. Now, let me share my summer vacation at my (grandparent) home with you.
