I have fun on the Happy Farm today. I pick and eat some apples there. I also learn how to plant tomatoes. The farmers on the farm are friendly. I want to ride a horse, but it's difficult for me. With the help of the farmers, I can do it now. It's not boring at all! There are lots of animals on the farm: chickens, pigs, ducks, and other animals. I like chickens best. How cute they are!

How 's your summer vacation? My family and I arrived in Australia two days ago, and now we are travelling around the country. Yesterday a funny thing happened. On the way to the Blue Mountains, we came across a big kangaroo （袋 鼠 ）sitting in the middle of the road. That was really funny ,  wasn 't it ? We stopped the car and waited for it to leave, but suddenly it jumped over our car! We laughed and laughed!

When we got to the mountains, it was almost dark.

How quiet it was in the mountains! At night we stayed in a tent in the Blue Mountains.  There were some strange noises outside our tent. The next morning we found some koalas in the tree outside! They climbed up the tree very slowly. They were cute! All my family loved them very much. My sister Elle really wanted to take a koala home with us!

Now we are going to Ayers Rock. We are all excited about it. I 'll  write to you again when I get there. I 'm looking forward to your reply. Have a good day!

When it comes to Chengdu , people may think of its delicious food and interesting places.  These  days, a hot pot-themed（火锅主题的）bus has creatively combined（结合）these things.

The bus first appeared in Chengdu in May 2022. It gives a new experience to both  locals （当 地 人）and travellers in Chengdu. People can not only eat hot pot on the bus but also enjoy the beauty of Chengdu along the way. There is also a guide talking about the culture of hot pot and the stories of the places of interest. People have so many things to do on the bus, so their trip is never boring.

At first, the bus only ran at 19：00 every day. Now it runs twice a day at  15：00 and 19：00. It has 8 dining tables inside. In order to let people enjoy their food and the city 's beauty safely（安全地）, it travels slowly. It takes 90 minutes to travel about 10 kilometres.

The food on the bus comes from a famous hot pot restaurant. It is ready-to-eat food. People can eat it directly（直接地）.   ▲      However, everyone can find something they like on the bus. Since the hot pot-themed bus is popular, there will probably be more buses with different themes on the roads in Chengdu in the near future.

Holidays are fun. I still remember a special day of my life. On that day, I celebrated two interesting holidays.

The third Monday of June is the "Clean Off Your Desk Day". This holiday encourages us to be organized（有条理的）.  Clean and organized desks let us get everything fast. So we should never keep our desks in a mess.

We celebrated the holiday by cleaning desks, of course!  We didn 't use some of them anymore. When we threw away the used paper, Miss Lee reminded us to pay attention to（注意）our personal（私人的）information. One of my classmates threw away some important papers by mistake! 

When I came back home from school that evening, something fun happened! My mother told me 16th June is the "Organize Your Home  Day".   It sounded like a lot of work, but we just  spent two hours. After the cleaning, our home became organized.

What a meaningful day!

Xiangxi is in the west of Hunan Province. It is very beautiful and has a rich culture. There are many places of interest like Fenghuang Ancient Town, Dehang Village, and Mount Bamian（八面山 ）. On Mount Bamian , the clouds look （amaze）. It（feel）like a magical place. Look ! Many tourists are （take）photos of the sea of clouds now.

Summer is hot and wet. The temperature in summer is usually between 28℃ 38℃. It rains quite a lot, （especial）in the mountains. The Miao people 's "Ganqiu Festival" in autumn is very traditional festival. People get together happily （celebrate）the harvest（丰收）. It 's very exciting to see all of（they）sing and dance. People are always high spirits during the festival.

If you plan to visit Xiangxi, you should wear comfortable shoes for stone streets. Bring a coat for cool mountain evenings and remember to try delicious food like Xueba Duck. The rich culture and beautiful natural （landscape）will make you want to visit again and again.

In the middle of the Xiangjiang River, the Orange Isle （橘子洲）named for its rich oranges rides through the centre of the river from south to north, meeting the Yuelu Mountain in the west and neighbouring the old Changsha in the east. It is known for its beautiful scenery and long history.

The Statue（雕像）of Mao Zedong in Youth at the head of Orange Isle is the largest artistic statue of Chairman Mao in China. Pei Gong Pavilion（亭）was built in the middle of Orange Isle by Pei Xiu, the chancellor （宰相 ）of the late Tang Dynasty when he was an official in Changsha. Jiang- shen Temple （寺）is in the tail of the Orange Isle. It was built by the Changsha people to remember the God of the River in ancient times. When people walk into the temple, the    ancient    Hunan    buildings    seem    to    make    people    travel        through    thousands of    years.

Gongji Tower, located on the north side of Jiangshen Temple, is  the tallest old building on the Orange Isle. Climbing up the Gongji Tower, you can enjoy the beauty of "Mountains, Waters, Isles and the City"in Changsha.
