Albert Einstein: A Genius of Physics

Albert Einstein was born in Germany in 1879. He was not a good student when he was young. He often asked strange questions and didn't like to follow rules.

In 1905, Einstein published four important papers. These papers changed the way we understand the universe. One of them was about the theory of relativity. In 1921, he won the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on the photoelectric effect.

Einstein left Germany in 1933 because of the Nazi government. He moved to the USA and worked at Princeton University. He spent the rest of his life studying the universe and trying to find a unified theory.

Einstein died in 1955. His ideas have had a huge influence on modern physics. People still study his theories today.

The Great Person in My Heart

When people talk about great people, they usually think of famous scientists or leaders. But in my heart, the greatest person is my grandma.

My grandma was born in a small village. She didn't go to school, but she learned to read and write by herself. She worked hard all her life to support her family. When I was a child, my parents were busy working, so my grandma took care of me. She told me stories about how she overcame difficulties and encouraged me to be strong.

When my grandma was 60 years old, she started a small garden. She grew vegetables and flowers. She gave most of the vegetables to her neighbors. She said, "Helping others makes me happy."

Last year, my grandma passed away. But her words and actions still influence me. I learn from her that great people don't have to be famous. They are the ones who love and help others.

When I was ten years old, I read a book about Helen Keller. Helen was born in the USA in 1880. When she was 19 months old, she became ill and lost her sight and hearing. She couldn't see or hear anything, so she was very angry and lonely.

Then, Anne Sullivan came to help her. Anne was Helen's teacher. She taught Helen to communicate by spelling words into her hand. Helen worked very hard. She learned to read, write and even speak. Later, she went to college and became a famous writer. She wrote many books and gave speeches all over the world. She helped many people with disabilities.

After reading Helen's story, I changed a lot. I used to give up easily when I faced difficulties. But now, I know that no matter how hard things are, I should keep trying. Helen Keller is my hero. She teaches me to be brave and never give up.
