Bob likes windy days. He often rides his bike. It's really exciting. Sometimes he flies a paper plane to see how far it can go in the wind.

They all have their own favourite weather and activities.

Jenny: Hi. Mum! Did you miss me?

Mrs Smith: Yes, I did! How was your study tour in Beijing?

Jenny: It was great! I had a good time.

Mrs Smith: What did you do?

Jenny: The first day, we went to Tian' anmen Square. It's so big, Mum!The second day, we went to the Palace Museum. It's beautiful! The third day, we went to the Great Wall. It's great!

Mrs Smith: Did you go shopping?

Jenny: Yes! The fourth day, the last day of our trip, we went to Wangfujing. This scarf is for you.

I'm Ben. I have a pet cat named Lucky. And he is my favourite animal in the world. He has soft fur and bright eyes. He is a smart and friendly cat in my heart.

Every time I get home, he waits for me at the door. I enjoy playing with him and watching him jump and run happily.

I take good care of Lucky. I feed him every day and make sure he has clean water. When he doesn't feel well, I am really concerned about him and take him to the vet(兽医) at once.

Lucky also helps me a lot. When I am unhappy, he will come and sit beside me. I know he is trying to comfort (安慰) me.

Now, Lucky is not just a pet to me. He is a part of my family. Every day with him is full of happiness. I love him so much and I hope we can be together for a long, long time.

One day, the sun made the world very hot. People were angry and shouted,"Go away, sun!" The sun got angry. "I will not shine anymore," he said. He went back angrily. After that, every day was cold and dark.

A rooster flex to the sun. "Please come back and make the world warm and bright again, " he said.

The sun didn't listen. "No, I will not come back. Tell everyone the world will stay cold and dark."

"I will do as you say," said the rooster. "But I need your help. If you don't come back, I have to fly home in the dark. I am afraid a tiger will catch me. If I crow (打鸣), will you come and save me?"

The sun said, "Yes, I will save you."

The rooster flew away. Before he got home, he crowed loudly, "Cock-a-doodle-doo!" Then he hid himself.

The sun rose into the sky. He looked for the rooster but could not find him.

From then on, the rooster crows every morning. The sun gets up and looks for the roaster. He never finds him.

Daniel was ill (生病的) and had to stay at home all day. He was very  because he missed (想念) his friends and school. He  on the chair by the window and looked at the garden outside from time to time. This brought him a little fun.

On the  day of his leave, he saw an elephant outside. The elephant danced very well and even said hello to him. Daniel felt  surprised. In the following days, he met more lovely  in the garden. He was very excited and said to mother, "Mum, look! Some penguins are playing with balls and some rabbits are around on the grass."

Daniel was so happy that he got  soon. He missed his classmates very much and wanted to go back to school. One morning, he walked into the classroom. To his  , his friends dressed up as different animals to cheer him up. Danielvery moved (感动的).
