There is a seed (种子). He is so small that nobody wants to look at him.

One day, a wind brings him to a field in the sun. He looks around and a spatter of rain (一阵雨)comes to him. Then he grows up. Four years later, a man sits under him. The man says,"Thank you for this."

It's Sunday, but the weather today is not so good. The wind blows strongly outside. All my family stay at home instead of going to the zoo. My dad is busy cutting fresh fruits on the table. My mom is mixing vegetables to make salad. My little brother is watching short animal cartoons on the sofa, and I am reading old stories from our English book. Though we can't go out for fun, we still enjoy our warm family time.

There are many sayings(谚语) about the weather. Let's have a look.

A Chinese saying says, "The weather in June is like a baby's face." It's because the weather is always variable in summer. It is sunny right now, but the next minute, it may rain. Another Chinese saying is, "Fish jump out of the water and rain comes." So the next time you see a fish jumping out of the water, remember to stay at home or take a raincoat or an umbrella with you if you go out.

In English, there is a saying. "March comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb(羔羊)." What does it mean? March is a month between winter and spring. It"comes in like a lion". Why? Because the month begins with winter. It has cold and windy days. At the end of March, spring is on the way. The weather gets warm. So we say it"goes out like a lamb".
