Wang Hao was the best runner in the school. He always beat Li Ming and other runners in practice. Li Ming had always wanted to win against him. But when he saw Wang Hao lying there，he didn't run past him. He stopped at once，turned around，and asked，"Are you OK？" Wang Hao shook his head. So Li Ming put his arm around Wang Hao and helped him stand up. Then they walked slowly across the finishing line together. The other runners all finished the race before them. 

All the students held their breath，and then they clapped and cheered loudly. Though Li Ming didn't get a first-place medal for the race，the headteacher gave Li Ming a special gold medal. He said，"True victory is not just about winning. It is about helping others. " Li Ming looked at the gold medal and smiled. He knew he didn't win the race，but he did the right thing.

Healthy eating is important for a healthy body and mind. Both what we eat and how we eat are important!

For example，some people have fast food every week. It is easy and delicious!But it often has lots of salt，fat，and sugar. That makes us put    on    weight. Eating fast food like pizza and hamburgers too often may cause heart problems later. If you cook your own meals instead，you can make healthy balanced meals. 

Eating three meals a day is important. But some people don't have breakfast. Maybe they don't feel hungry in the morning，or they are too busy to eat anything. But food gives us energy. If we don't eat breakfast，it is easy to feel sleepy. It is also hard to focus on our work or studies. 

Some people also eat too many sweet things. Ice cream，sweets，and chocolate are delicious，but they usually have lots of sugar. This can cause tooth problems. When you want a snack，why don't you have some fruit instead？After all，an apple a day keeps the doctor away. 

Remember：You are what you eat. Healthy eating means eating healthy food and having good eating habits.

Mr. Dahl thought it was important for children to read. "I love teaching kids to be readers，to be comfortable with a book，not afraid.     ▲     They should be interesting，exciting and wonderful，" he said.

The elephant is my favourite animal. I love elephants because they are strong and clever. They are also a symbol of good luck here. The clephant is our national animal. On 13 March，we celebrate Thai Elephant Day. 

Elephants look very different from other animals. They are huge. They have large ears and long trunks. They can pick up and carry heavy things with their trunks. 

Elephants are like us in some ways. They are very playful and love to play in the water. They are great swimmers. They are also clever. For example，they can remember one another and places with food and water after many years. Elephants are very kind too. They look after other elephants when they don't feel well. The big elephants also help the baby ones. 

Elephants are an important part of Thai life and culture. However，they are in danger. They live in forests，but people cut down too many trees. People also kill elephants for their ivory. Let's save the forests and not buy things made of ivory. Every elephant counts. 

Ice-cream is popular all over the world. It has a long history and food culture. It is made from milk， and fresh fruit. There are many kinds of tastes，like strawberry and chocolate. Kids and adults all love this dessert.  ，  ice-cream came from ancient China. Marco Polo tasted binglao and carried the idea all the way back to Europe. Then it very popular there. 

In many western festivals，people often friends to some ice-cream in summer. People eat it with some and other snacks. It brings a moment of cool and joyful feeling. Ice-cream continues to develop，so does the culture.
