This is how we began our journey. My hometown Beijing is an old city.It is famous for China Red, so I chose red for my colourwalk. However, my sister picked pink. Pink? Ibelieved she would find nothing.

At first, the colour red met my eyes all around. Tall, ancient red walls were everywhere. Along a street,I found a long line of red lanterns, like a red dragon. Soon,I took many photos. How easy!

Suddenly, my sister said, "Look,a pink teahousel It is like a soft pink cloud." That was strange. Iwalked past it many times but never really noticed the pink colour. "Wow! So many pink flowers!"my sister pointed at the flowering peach(桃花) trees. "More pink? How could I neglect so much pink around me?" I thought.

That moment taught me something. Before, I only saw some red walls and grey streets around my hometown, but I paid no attention to other amazing colours. Today's walk was full of surprise. I'm really looking forward to exploring my hometown in new colours. There's a rainbow(彩虹) hiding in our city, and I'm ready to find it.

Then, some of the children decided to keep the stones away. They  (talk)about their days with their family. They went outside and felt the sun on their  (face). Every moment was happier than they expected.

This book touches me deeply. The stones stand for screens and the story tells me there are many ways to have fun. Don't  (let) screens take over our lives. As the writer says, "Please use screens as a tool, and stop them from using you."
