In September 2024, two young Frenchmen, Rene and Michel, started a special journey（旅程）. It took them nearly 400 days to finish the trip. They passed through 16 countries and wore out six pairs of shoes. In the end, they got to China in September 2025. 

When they got to Gansu, they were amazed by the beautiful Danxia landforms（丹霞地貌）. They were also surprised by the modern cities. "There were many modern buildings, and we had to learn all the new digital（数字的）habits, " Michel told reporters from China Daily. In Lanzhou, Rene and Michel saw their fans for the first time at a noodle restaurant. They followed their travel videos on social media（社交媒体）. The kind fans made them love the place even more. "Every day, people give us something to welcome us, " they said. 

They arrived in Shanghai on Feb. 7, 2026. But they planned to travel to more cities. They believe slow travel is a greener and deeper way to see the world. 

May 20th, called"520", is an unofficial love day in China because it sounds like"I love you". People usually show love to their partners, parents, or friends. But there's a new trend（趋势）nowadays: young people say"I love you"to themselves. 

Self-love means accepting yourself, listening to your feelings and forgiving（原谅）your own mistakes. Nowadays, many young people have problems with school, work, and daily life. Loving themselves makes them feel good inside and helps them believe in their own worth（价值）. They post self-love words online, such as"I love my funny laugh"and"I love my great dreams. "

So how can you practice self-love? First, never compare（比较）yourself with others. Everyone is unique. Second, speak to yourself kindly. Instead of saying"I'm so silly", just say"I made a mistake, but I can learn from it. "Third, spend time on your favourite activities— reading, walking or learning a new skill. Even small acts of self-love can make a big difference.

Have you ever seen a robot go to college? In China, a robot named Xueba 01 is now a PhD student! He's going to study at Shanghai Theater Academy, a top art school. People are talking about him online. 

The robot is 1. 75 meters tall with short black hair. He looks like a handsome young man. He wears a pair of glasses and a light blue shirt. He can speak Chinese, make different expressions（表情）, and even run. He once won the third place in a robot race. 

In September, the robot will begin a four-year PhD program. He' ll study Chinese opera and learn how to act and write plays. He' ll also learn to design sets (布景) for the stage. His teacher, Professor Yang, said that Xueba 01 would work with other students and write a final paper. 

Some people are excited about the new robot; others are not sure if such a robot can truly understand art. Xueba 01 made a joke about this question. He said, "If I don't succeed, maybe I' ll become a museum piece. That's not bad!" No matter what happens, this robot is making history.
