One recent day at noon, I opened my eyes and found myself standing outside my apartment with confusion. Everything looked familiar, but something seemed wrong: The keyhole in the door was gone. I expected my wife or daughters to open the door.

"Coming!" a voice replied. It sounded like mine, but much older. The door was open. Here was a robot. I looked around the apartment carefully.

"Come in, please!" the robot said,"My human, Mr. Wu, asked me to teleport(远距离传送) you here."

"Teleport?" I was even more confused."Where am I? Isn't this my apartment?"

"It is, but it's March 2054. You' re in the future."

Soon, an old man walked out. He must be me at 63. He looked healthy and introduced his robot,Wu BOT. I was really amazed to know that this robot once showed kung fu in 2026. Just then, a drone(无人机) came and sent a birthday gift for my wife, who was travelling at Mount Lu.

At that time, I felt lonely, although I was told that I could talk to Wu BOT. I thought it was not the same. How sad I was!

Suddenly, the alarm clock was ringing. In a minute, I woke up from a dream on a park bench.Birds were singing, children were laughing, and elderly couples were taking a slow walk after lunch.There were no robots or drones. It felt good to be back in the human age.

China has once again set a world record by opening the new Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge(花江峡谷大桥) in Guizhou. It is 625 meters high above the Beipan River, making it the tallest bridge in the world.

Guizhou is famous for its special landscape: high mountains, deep and exciting valleys(山谷)as well as many different rocks. Many people fall in love with its wonderful natural beauty after travelling in Guizhou. Every year, many visitors come to Guizhou to enjoy the striking and amazing scenery. But travelling around the area is difficult. The Huajiang Grand Canyon is so deep and long that people call it the"Earth's Crack".

On September 28, the Huajiang Grand Canyon Bridge was opened to traffic. The bridge is 2.89kilometers long in total, and its central part is about 1.42 kilometers. It is part of the S57 highway. In the past, driving across the mountains took at least 70 minutes. Now the same trip takes just over one minute.

But the bridge's builders are actually hoping to slow some of that traffic down. They want to turn the bridge into a place for tourists to go. As one of the workers on the bridge says,"The view from the bridge is fantastic." There is a special glass walkway which allows visitors to look down at the river deep in the valley below.

Great changes have taken place in Guizhou's transportation. In the 1980s, there were fewer than3,000 bridges. Now Guizhou has more than 32,000 bridges, and nearly half of the world's 100 tallest bridges are in Guizhou.

Not everything you learn in school comes from the classroom. I learned one of the greatest 1 from a little girl in school. I studied in a primary school in rural Kenya, East Africa. Most local families lived on small farming.

Here, we were all having lunch in school. In this 2 area, some parents didn't have chances to make money. As a result, it was difficult for them to buy lunch for their kids. Later in the year, I noticed one boy who sometimes just sat at the table with 3 . Although he pretended to be like other students, we could 4 that he was embarrassed.

Spend your money wisely. First, avoid buying things with too much packaging. The packaging creates trash and hurts the environment. Second, you can try to buy second-hand things instead of buying new ones. Remember not to buy things you don't need. When you really want to buy something, check online resale shops or borrow one from your family or friends.

What's more, keeping green travel is also important. You can walk or ride a bike to work. If the place you want to go is too far for a daily bicycle, you can take public transport.
