Garbage sorting and recycling is also carried out around the world.In Japan，a truck playing music comes to people's doors to pick up their garbage.There are eight or more kinds of garbage.If you sort any of them wrong，you will get a notice on your door.In Indonesia，people can take buses for free if they give plastic bottles to bus stations.An hour-long bus ride costs three large bottles.

Once upon a time，there was an owl （猫头鹰）.Owl lived in a forest with her baby.She was kind to all the neighbors except Snake that lived just next to her home.Her friends often warned her， "All snakes are dangerous.Don't trust them!" So，she would drive it away when it came close.

One night，Owl woke up in fear.Thick smoke covered the trees and all the animals felt very scared.There was a big fire!All the animals began to run for their lives.As Owl was about to leave，she found that her baby was still in a small hole inside their tree and couldn't get out by itself.She wanted to help it but she found the hole was narrow （狭窄的）.Owl shouted at the top of her voice and began to cry.

These days，cultural and creative dolls are very popular.They carry special meanings and show the culture of the places they come from.

In Wuhan，Hubei，there is a lovely cultural and creative doll—a little bird with garlic （蒜） on its head.Its name is "Suan Niao"，sounding like "Suan Liao" in the Wuhan dialect （方言）.It means "Don't worry about it and let it go." On bus No.603 in Wuhan，there are "Suan Niao" dolls hanging on the glass door of the driver's room.When passengers argue，the driver will take down the doll and press it.It will make a funny "Suan Liao，Suan Liao" sound.The passengers will smile when they hear it.

Henan also has some wonderful cultural and creative dolls.The Cloth Tiger from Huaiyang is one of them.The tiger doll has a big head and a round body.On its face，there is a Chinese character wang.This makes the tiger look brave.Huaiyang is the home of Fuxi culture.The Cloth Tiger is a symbol of respect for Fuxi and Nuwa.And people think the Cloth Tiger can bring them good luck.Visitors to Henan can choose it as a gift for their friends and family.

These cultural and creative dolls aren't just toys.They remind us to be kind to others and bring people closer together.We can do the same in our own way.There is always a small way for each of us to share this warmth.

There is a special jug （罐） on our kitchen table.I put some small pieces of paper and a pen next it.Anyone in my family is free to write down something good that has happened recently.With pieces of paper in it，the jug is "Good Things Jug".

Many good things happen in a year.At the end of the year，we get together to the jug.We take turns （轮流） to read the "Good Things" aloud.Some of the things are ，some are serious，and some just give hope.

Over the past twelve ，there have been many difficult things in our family.Noticing the "Good Things" has helped us go through the hard time.Here are a few sentences from the "Good Things Jug"：
