Weather in Different Cities

It's sunny and cool in my city now. I'm studying at home. How's the weather in your city? And what are you doing?

Bananas and dark chocolate have special chemicals（化学物质）. These help our brains make happy hormones. These hormones make us feel good and reduce stress. Eating a piece of dark chocolate when you're sad can make you feel better!

When you feel tired, whole grains like oatmeal（燕麦片）and brown rice can give you enough energy. They give you energy slowly, so you stay active for hours. But sweet snacks only give energy for a short time, and then you feel tired again. 

Feeling worried? Try eating fish like salmon or some nuts. These foods can help you relax. Warm milk or chamomile tea（菊花茶）before bed also helps many people sleep better. Ice cream and candy may make you feel good at first, but eating too much sugar can make you feel worse later. 

Try eating more fresh fruits, vegetables and proteins（蛋白质）. Notice how different foods make you feel. Keeping a food-mood diary for a week can help you discover which foods work best for you!

Rules are everywhere in our lives. They tell us what we should or shouldn't do. But how can rules help us? 

※ Rules keep us safe.For example, traffic rules help people on the road stay away from danger. 

※ Rules make things fair（公平的）. In sports, rules help keep games fair. They make sure all players can win. If there are no rules, the game will not be fair and will be messy（混乱的）。

The Summit of the Three Gorges（三峡之巅）

The Yangtze River flows through the Three Gorges. The highest spot（地点）is called the Summit. It's in Fengjie County（县）, Chongqing. 

The Summit is 1, 388 meters high. You can see the Yangtze River below. The water looks like a blue dragon. Tall cliffs（悬崖）rise from the river. They are over 1, 000 meters high. In autumn, the mountains turn red and gold. 

You can hike to the Summit. The path is 10 kilometers long. It takes about three hours. There are stone steps with safety bars（安全杆）. You can rest every 30 minutes. There are places to take photos. The hike is tiring but worth it. 

Mornings are special at the Summit. There is often thick fog（雾）on the river in the morning. The fog is all over the river, like a big sea. You can see White Emperor City. It's an old place across the river. Poets wrote about this view long ago. 

The Summit is beautiful and exciting. You can take photos, enjoy nature, or go hiking. Everyone will love this place.
