Robots are changing the way of our life. They are playing a more and more important role in our daily life. Here are some home robots. Let' s see how they make our life easy and enjoyable. 

Gillian Lynne never did well at school as a child. She couldn't keep sitting quietly for long. Her mother was worried and took her to a doctor. For twenty minutes, the mother talked about the problems Gillian had at school. Finally, the doctor said to Gillian, "I need to speak to your mother privately（私下地）. Wait here, and we' ll be back soon. " Then the doctor turned on the radio on his desk. When they got out of the room, he said to Gillian's mother, "Just stand here and watch her. " The minute they left the room, Gillian started to dance to the music. 

They watched for a few minutes and the doctor said to the mother, "Mrs. Lynne, Gillian isn't sick. She's a dancer. Take her to a dance school. "

So she did. Gillian's new dance school was full of people like her. They loved to move to think. Later Gillian went to the Royal Ballet School and became a great dancer. After leaving the school, she worked for some successful musicals（音乐剧）. 

It's hard to believe that years ago, somebody would let her take medicine to keep quiet. 

Yogurt is a kind of healthy food that people can make at home. One way to make it is to buy some dry yogurt from a store. Add two small spoonfuls of the yogurt to two cups of milk. This will be the starter（准备材料）for your own yogurt. A cup in the United States is two hundred and forty milliliters（毫升）. 

When making yogurt, it is very important to have clean equipment, clean hands and a right temperature. Pour eight cups of milk into a large cooking pot. Heat（加热）the milk to 85℃. Then cool the milk quickly to 43℃. To do this, you can put the cooking pot in cool water. Keep the yogurt at 43℃ and add one-half cup of the starter. If you want a thicker yogurt, you can also add one-third of a cup of dry milk. Cover the pot and keep it at a temperature of 40℃ to 45℃ for four to six hours. After that, your home-made yogurt is ready. You can also add fruit, nuts, honey or spices（香料）. 

Yogurt can be made with milk from cows or other animals like goats and sheep. It can be spelled"y-o-g-u-r-t" or"y-o-g-h-u-r-t". More information on making it can be found at websites such as practicalaction. org. 

Mr. Jenkins is fifty years old. He has taught math in a middle school for twenty-six years.  He hopes his students can be honest（诚实的）and he is strict with them. Some of his students become famous persons, but they still remember him and often write to him. 

This term he started to teach Grade Seven. Some of the new students were told about him, but the others didn' t know him well.  He gave them some examples and said, "I dislike telling a lie（说谎） most. "

Before class was over, he told all his students to finish Exercise 8 in Unit 1. The next morning, as soon as he came into the classroom, he asked, "Who has finished Exercise 8?"

 He shook his head and said, "Open your exercise books and see whether（是否）there' s Exercise 8 in Unit 1 or not. " The students had a look at their books and their faces turned red at once. 

If you are going to study in a foreign country, what can you do to feel less lonely（孤独的）? Well, here I will give you some 1 to help you. 

Always say yes. Of course 2 you feel uncomfortable in any way, don' t agree. I mean, try not to 3 an invitation. By saying yes, you can get the chance to meet lots of people and learn a lot 4 them. Find a hobby or try something new. Join a dance class, a chess club or a cooking class! This is a good way of making your life 5 .

I am a shy person and sometimes I feel that people don't understand me. Lisa is friendly and everyone loves her. She is also smart and she can deal with everything. I am happy to have a friend like her.
