We are really happy that you are coming to live with us next month. Here's our daily(日常的)life for you to know. 

I get up at a quarter pant six. Ann often gets up at half past six. She takes a shower when I make breakfast for the family. 

Then all our three children Amy, Billy and Sam get up too. and we have breakfast. We usually have eggs, bread, salad and milk. At a quarter past seven,the children brush their teeth. Then I take them to the kindergarten(幼儿园)and school before eight o'clock. Ann and I go to work at the same time. Ann finishes her work at four o'clock and she gets the children. They get back home at 4:20. Later, Amy goes to the piano lesson,Billy has basketball training and Sam plays with his toys(玩具) at home. Amy and Billy come home at seven o'clock. Then the children take a shower. I make dinner when they take a shower. At nine o'clock, the children go to bed. Amy often reads stories to Sam.

It's autumn in America. Henry is in a restaurant. It's raining hard. Henry likes autumn because the weather is usually cool. But sometimes Henry feels sad when it is raining. He is from China. He often misses his home, his parents and his friends on rainy days. 

But today everything is great. Henry is happy. It's twelve o'clock now. All the Chinese people here are having a good time. Some are eating food. Some are talking happily. A young man is playing the guitar. The music is really good. There are five people around him. They are listening to him. A young woman is standing in front of a picture. There is a camera in her hand. She is going to take a photo of this picture. A boy is watching TV. It's an action movie. A cat is lying near the TV set. Henry is surprised that it is sleeping! In a big chair is an old man. He is sitting quietly,watching the people in the restaurant. All of them are relaxed. 

It's April 23rd today. Look, there are many people in the City Library. What are they doing there? Some are sitting and reading different kinds of books at the table. Some are standing and looking for their favourite books. What about the people over there? Oh, they are reading on the computers. It's a good way to read too. Most of the people are from different reading clubs. All of them love reading. 

Reading can help us a lot.  We can read any kind we like, and we can learn a lot by reading. Good books are like our best friends. And it can also make our life colourful. 

It's Sunday today. The weather is good. It is1 . 

When I wake up at 8:00 a. m. , I see many animals in my2 . The elephant is drinking water. He is too big and sometimes I am afraid of him. The koala is still3 . Some say he is cute,4 . I think he is lazy! The lion5 next to me, He says "Good morning" to me every morning.

Today is Sunday and it is 10:30 a. m. I (play) with my dog at home now. His name is Coco and he is new in my home. He has white and yellow hair. I like him very much he is cute and smart. He always (listen) to me. When I say "Come here, Coco", he will come to me (quick). He loves to learn. It is fun to teach him (walk) on two legs. Every time he does the right thing,he can get) his favourite food. He is happy to do what I tell him to do. I take him for alk every afternoon. He is good running. He also likes playing with other (dog) outside. Sometimes he fights with (they) and then I always stop him. Now he is not only my pet, but also my friend.

I am writing this letter in my room. I can see the Seine River from the window. It is beautiful. 

I am staying at a student hotel some miles from the centre Paris. I have got a big room and I use it as a bedroom,study and sitting room!4.旅馆里有一间厨房。But I don't often cook there. I usually have my meals at the university. The food there is good and cheap. 

The university is about two stops from here on the underground railway(铁路). It takes me about ten minutes to get there. so that's easy. 5.Most of the other students ride bicycles, but I haven't got one.

I am enjoying myself very much. I like walking along the streets. I like Paris. It is quite different from our town.
