"Jackson just fell and hurt his knee," said Eva.

"Was he bleeding (流血)?" asked Mandy.

The story began to spread. Within an hour, Kevin heard the whole story. "Jackson got hit by a car on his way home. There was blood everywhere, and he was sent to the hospital."

That night, Oliver got more information. "____________ He doesn't even remember anything about the accident! He won't be at school for at least four weeks."

The next morning, everybody at school was talking about Jackson.

"Lucky Jackson," Maya said. "He gets to miss so much school."

"The poor guy can't even move, and you think he's lucky?" said Kathy.

Bob shook his head sadly, "He was so good at football—what if he can never play again?"

"Maybe we should send him a card or visit him in the hospital," suggested Bill.

"Will he even remember us?" asked Gina.

"I can't believe he lost his memory!" Lisa cried.

Just then, Jackson came around the corner and walked over to Gina and Lisa. "Hey, guys, what's going on?" he asked.

Everyone stopped talking and stared (瞪眼看) at him.

       Alex travelled to over 70 Chinese cities on his vacations. He likes the local food there, such as Yunnan rice noodles, Sichuan hot pot, Beijing roast duck and so on. "China is a country with a long history. It has excellent culture. I am deeply attracted (吸引) by it," said Alex.

       In 2018, Alex returned to Russia. Though there were lots of amazing Chinese restaurants there, he couldn't stop missing his days in China. So he came back to China again in 2023.

"I love China so much," said Alex. "My dream is to make great videos to show my love for China. And I will do what I can to help more foreigners to know a real China." Alex plans to visit more places this year. His next stop will be Xinjiang.

In Guatemala, there is also a cool project. In 2009, the village of Granados used plastic bottles to build a new school. They put plastic bottles and cement (水泥) together. They filled the bottles with waste. For the two classrooms in this project, they used over 5, 000 plastic bottles, and lots of waste and cement. It cost only$10, 000. Now, 297 students are studying in this school.

These schools made of plastic bottles show us a great way to use waste. It also tells us we can reuse a lot of things.

First, you have to decide who can become your friends. You can those who share the same hobbies with you. When friendship begins, you plan activities. Make sure you can do them   together. Second, start a small talk. You can ask your new friends questions,, "Who's your favourite singer?" Then you will know each other better. Third, being helpful is important, too. When your classmates are in trouble, you can try to your help. You can lend a pen to your   new deskmate. You can also care for a classmate who doesn't feel well. Fourth, the best way to make true friends is being . You won't feel good when you lie to your friends.
