Zhu Jinxiang, a student in Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province, carried his classmate and close friend, Zhong Huaqiang, on his back to school for 10 years. Zhong was born cerebral palsy（脑瘫）. So he is not able to stand or walk. Luckily, he had Zhu by his side. 

Zhu lived in the same village as Zhong. He and other kids in the village took turns to carry Zhong on their backs to school when they went into the third grade in primary school. After entering middle school, Zhu and Zhong were in the same class and they were deskmates too. 

"At first I just tried to show how strong I was by carrying him. Then I found that every time I was sad, he would cheer me up. Our friendship was stronger and stronger and we became good friends as time went by," said Zhu. 

Zhu carried Zhong on his back to the classroom, playground, bathroom, and other places where Zhong needed to go. They talked about everything and did their homework together every day. 

"Our friendship is a two-way relationship. I help him deal with the little things in life, and he helps me with my studies. And that makes me become a better me," said Zhu.

The deep friendship between Zhu and Zhong touched many people and inspired（鼓舞）many of their classmates to help each other. We hope that their friendship will last forever.

Do you still remember the silver-haired and silver medal (奖牌) winner Yusuf Dikec from Turkey? Yusuf Dikec, a Turkish shooter, is a social media storm after his funny performance at the Paris Olympic 2024. The 51-year-old, who wore a white T-shirt and had his hand in his pocket, has been among the most searched persons on Internet since then. His casual (随意的) style stood him apart from his competitors in the 10-meter air pistol mixed team event (10米气手枪混合决赛).

The most-shared photo shows Dikec shooting in a T-shirt with one hand in his pocket and a common pair of glasses, showing no feeling on his face. He's been compared to a hitman (杀手). 

Dikec is no stranger to shooting: Paris 2024 is his fifth Olympics, after 2008, 2012, 2016 and 2020 before. He also hold several titles from the World and European Championships for different events. 

"I shoot with both eyes, but most shooters do it with one. So I did not need special equipment (装备). Shooting with two eyes—I believe that it's better. I have done a lot of research on it, so I didn't need the equipment. I shot with my hand in my pocket because I just felt more comfortable while shooting. In this way my body would not swing. Although I looked calm on the outside, there was a storm inside." Dikec told the media, "I'm a natural shooter." "Success doesn't come with your hands in your pockets." is another sentence he said to the media. In fact, his calm shot is the result of 24 years of hard work. He trains for 4-5 hours six days a week.

Why does it matter? Over half of Chinese adults are now overweight. Being overweight can lead to health problems like diabetes (糖尿病). So China started a three-year "weight management" campaign in 2024. Weight clinics are a key part of this plan. Besides clinics, many cities also take the and build a large number of sports parks and walking paths for citizens. More Chinese people are exercising outdoors. Food habits are changing too. New dietary (饮食规定) guides healthy meals for different cities, such as steamed fish with millet rice (小米) and vegetables in central China, and fresh seafood with vegetables in the south. People are choosing foods with less sugar and oil. Office workers prefer salad bowls with chicken or fish. Even holiday snacks like mooncakes are now smaller and healthier. Doctors mix old Chinese recipes with modern science. For example, Shanxi noodles now have more vegetables and tofu. 

Keeping healthy isn't just about weight but eating well, moving more, and feeling happy. With these methods mentioned above, China hopes to build a healthier future for everyone. 

5.         Are electric cars (电车) good for the Earth? Many of us would probably say yes. But Robert Sansone knows the answer isn't that simple. Sansone is called a natural-born engineer. It is not surprising if you know the 17-year-old has completed nearly 60 engineering projects.
        A couple of years ago, Sansone watched a video about the advantages and disadvantages of electric cars. The video explained how the motors (发动机) of these cars are made. Most of them use rare-earth metals (稀土金属). These materials are very expensive. Even worse, they are often collected in ways that are harmful to the Earth. "Must we use these metals? Is there a more environmentally-friendly way?" Sansone thought. He had heard of the synchronous reluctance motor (同步电动机) before. But its performance should be improved.
        Over the following year, Sansone put one design after another to the test. Things didn't go well at first. He failed fourteen times before coming up with a working model. The model is about 40% more powerful than a traditional one. And it doesn't use rare-earth metals. These efforts have helped Sansone win a big award. He took part in this year's Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair (大奖赛) with his motor. It's the world's largest pre-college science competition. He stood out from more than 1,800 competitors to win first prize.
        Sansone, however, isn't yet done with his invention because it is far from perfect. It is difficult to make. This means it's hard to become widely used. So Sansone has continued to improve and test his motor. Hopefully Sansone's design will completely change the electric car industry one day.

I'm Mike. I had a great Easter holiday last year. On the first day of the holiday, my family went to Hong Kong. We visited the Ocean Park. It is the most exciting place I have ever been to. We spent the whole day in the park. We also spend one whole day in Hong Kong Disneyland. Shopping was one of the major events for everyone visiting Hong Kong. My mother filled up three suitcases when the holiday ended.
