I will never forget my first English class. It is very interesting. It's the first class in the morning.

Kelly liked dancing. She went to Star Dance School. Kelly worked very hard in her dance class, but she was sad because she couldn't dance well. Kelly did not want to dance again. She hid her dance shoes under her bed. She did not want to look at them.

Kelly helped Mum look after her baby sister, Mary. She was one year old. Kelly loved her. She played with Mary and read stories to her.

Mary learned to walk. She stood up and tried to walk. She fell and tried to walk again. Mary fell many times, but she was cheerful. She always laughed. Kelly thought Mary was brave. She took out her dance shoes and danced again.

Hello, my name is John. I am in Grade 7 at Woodland School near London. We learn 8 subjects at school. My favourite subject is Home Economics. In this class, we learn how to do some housework like cooking and sewing. After some classes, I know how to cook and make some clothes. Now I cook for my parents on the weekend.

Our school has a Reading Week every term. It's on the second week of the term. During the Reading Week, I can read many interesting books. My favourite books are about Chinese history. I think China is a great country. I hope I can have a Chinese class at school. My classmates and I love our Reading Week, because we can read many books from the school library. We can bring books from home to school, too, but we have to tell our teachers what we are reading. Near the end of each class, we can talk to our classmates about our books. The Reading Week is always too short because we want to read more good books.

Li Hua: Yes! I really like studying Maths.

Li Hua: Because I like numbers. They are all around us and I can use what I learn in maths to solve problems in my d life. Besides, I have to think carefully when I'm solving difficult problems. I e that. So, what's your favourite subject?

Hello, I'm Tom. I'm an English boy. I come to China with my parents. I'm in an international middle school in Beijing. Now let's see one of my school days.

It's Friday. It's my favourite day. In the morning, I have four classes.  It begins at 8:00. I like it because I can speak Chinese with my classmates. Then I have two maths classes.  The last class in the morning is music. It's my favourite class and I can sing songs well.

I have lunch at 12:10.  My mother says they are good for my health. 

In the afternoon, I only have two classes.  I think it's interesting and I can know many places in China. The next is PE. I can play football with my classmates.  The afternoon classes finish at 5:00 in the afternoon. I usually get home around 6:00.

It is hot and wet in Chongqing these days. I don't  the weather here but I love the food and scenery. This morning, it was rainy. We didn't have any special . My parents and I just stayed at the hotel and I felt really . Luckily, it stopped raining at noon. We went to eat  special —Chongqing hot pot for lunch. There is a big  between Chongqing hot pot and Beijing hot pot. The food here is really spicy (辛辣的). After lunch, we to visit Foreigner Street in Chongqing  a visitor told us that it was a good place to visit. Foreigner Street is really ! There are lots of old buildings and nice food from all over the world. We  Italian coffee, Indian cakes and British tea there. Everything was  and we really had a good time in this street.

My first week at junior high was very busy but happy. English and maths (be) my favourite subjects. My first lesson was English. In that lesson, we sang songs  read poems. After class, we usually have 20 minutes to rest. So we can play games and do team activities.

Which is your favorite day? My answer to this question is definitely(一定) Friday. I have my favorite subjects on that day: P. E. and chemistry(化学)．I can do experiments(实验) in the science lab(实验室) on Friday, and my chemistry teacher Mr. King is also fun. In the P．E. class, I usually play basketball with my classmates. This is my favorite sport. I'm good at it. I'm also on the school basketball team, and my team usually wins(获胜)．I also have a French class on Friday, but it's not my favorite subject. After that I have a computer class, and it is interesting for me. In class, I can decorate(装饰) the webpage(网页) for our basketball team. We can leave school early on Friday. After school I sometimes go to the library to do my homework and sometimes I play tennis at the sports center with my friends. In the evening, I sometimes go to my friend's house for a party. We can relax on Friday evening because we don't need to go to school on Saturday!
