Sugar addiction is serious, because it can really damage your health and even cause death. Doctors say that we should eat healthy food, such as fruit and vegetables, and we shouldnˈt eat a lot of sugar or fast food. But sugar addicts are difficult to follow this advice. Well, here is some useful advice.

·Eat some fresh fruit when you really want something sweet to eat.

·Cut down on sweet food slowly. Donˈt try to stop eating it all at once.

·You have to tell your parents. If they know, they will help you.

Itˈs nine oˈclock at night. What are you doing? Watching TV, doing your homework, or chatting (闲聊) on your mobile phones? It is important for students to get a good sleep every night. If you donˈt sleep well at night, you cannot do your work well at school the next day. We all know that the number of sleeping hours for students should at least be eight hours. But most students donˈt get enough sleep. That is bad for their schoolwork.

I read an interesting article in a newspaper. It says young students are facing a new problem. They may go to bed early, but a lot of them wake up in the middle of the night. They wake up not because of using the bathroom. They wake up because they are afraid of missing out (错失取乐的机会)! The article says schoolchildren wake up during the night to look at their mobile phones. They are afraid that they may miss something important on the mobile phones. They wake up at all times of the night and go online.

Iˈd like to ask you to turn off your mobile phones at night. And you wonˈt miss anything important.

Can different kinds of animals be good friends? Different people may have different answers. But what the following animals do shows the answer is "Yes".

Usually, cats don't like dogs. So your pet dog and cat may fight often. But a dog and a cat are really good friends in Beijing Zoo. The dog lived with baby tigers and lions when it was young. So it isn't afraid of cats. They often spend time together. The cute dog usually helps the cat clean its hair.

In other places we can find different animals can be friends too. At an animal sanctuary(保护区) in Santiago, Chile, a cat named Marina and a pig(猪) named Laura are good friends. Laura and Marina don't come from the same place. They were friendly to each other when they met for the first time. Now they often play together.

Scientists(科学家) think animals in zoos and sanctuaries don't need to think about food and they have places to live in. For lots of animals, they don't have much to do but sleep. The life in zoos and sanctuaries is boring for them. They really need friends to play with. So they can be friends with other animals easily.

Every Thursday and Sunday morning, a group of visually impaired (视觉受损的) people meet in the Beijing Olympic Forest Park. Many of them are . With the help of volunteers from the Running in the Dark, they do some running in the park. In this way, they are  their life and becoming much stronger than before. Xu Taipeng is a member of the Running in the Dark. Because he canˈt see, he used to do nothing at home. He often felt . However, after he joined the Running in the Dark and ran in the forest park, he changed a lot. Now he always shows a great interest in running.

"Now many visually impaired people join the group and we make training plans for them. During the training, I also  them better.  they have lots of problems in their life, they never give up," said He Xiaoyun, the founder (创办者) of the Running in the Dark in Beijing.
