My name is Kate. I'm 13 years old. I'm from Guiyang, China. Now, I live with my father, my mother, and my brother. We a pet bird. Her name is Coco. She even speaks some  like "Ni Hao". My favorite food is beef noodles and my favorite place is Qianlingshan Park. I like sports. I play basketball every weekend with my brother and my friends. I like music  I play the guitar in the school band. I have good friend—Sally. She is also 13 years old. She comes from Sydney, Australia. Now she lives in Guiyang with her parents. Mapo tofu is her favorite Chinese food. Sally and I are in theclass. We are both in Class 1, Grade 7. I am happy to have Sally as my friend.

Dongzhi Festival is very famous in China. It is also a 1 for the family to get together just like the Spring Festival. It is around December 22nd every year. On this day, the day is the shortest and the night is the longest of the year.

In the afternoon, she has P.E. at 2:30 p.m. Students often play football in PE class. After the P.E. class, she and her classmates talk about many things in the class meeting. School is over at 4:00 p.m. What a happy Friday!
