The use of red dates back to ancient times. There is a statue（塑像）of the Yellow Emperor(Huangdi in Chinese) in Beijing. And we can see the emperor wears a red robe（长袍）from it. During the Han Dynasty, red showed how important someone was. And people often used it when they got married or in other celebrations. In the Tang Dynasty, red became a popular color for clothes. 

In Chinese culture, red is a special color. It means lots of good things and feelings. It's a color of happiness and good luck. It's used to bring joy and drive bad things away. It's common to see it at weddings, on birthdays, and during the Chinese New Year. It's a color of wealth and health. People often wear or carry something red. It's also a color of power and energy. 

Today, red continues to play an important role in Chinese culture and society. The National Flag of the People's Republic of China is red with five yellow stars on the top left. And now, red is a hot color in fashion. More and more people choose to wear traditional wedding dresses at weddings. Red also appears in idioms. For example, "Hongyun dangtou" means to be ▲ . 

The 15th China International Aviation and Aerospace Exhibition（中国国际航空航天博览会）, China's biggest air show, opened to the public in Zhuhai, Guangdong province, on November 12, 2024. It's a big show where lots of planes and other flying machines are displayed. 

At the air show, you can see many different kinds of planes. Some are used for fighting, while others are for taking photos or sending things. One of the most exciting things at the air show was the uncovering of China's new military（军事的）technology. For example, China's own J-20S fighter jet was shown in public for the first time. This is a new type of stealth（隐形的） fighter jet which can fly long distances and carry out a lot of different tasks. It also has new electronic warfare systems, missiles（导弹）, and radar（雷达）, which make it better at finding and attacking enemy targets. 

Besides the J-20S, there were also cool aircraft and weapons on display. There were drones that can fly high in the sky, unmanned boats that can sail on the ocean, and even the lunar samples that Chang'e-6 collected from the far side of moon. 

The air show is not just fun to watch. It's also important for business. Companies from all over the world come together to show their new planes and learn from each other. Many important deals were made during the event, including a big order for 130 new Chinese—made passenger planes. 

The Yingge Dance, or"dance to the hero' s song" is a traditional art form in Chaoshan area. The dance can date back to the Ming Dynasty(1368——1644). At that time, dancers  it during traditional Chinese festivals. Today, Chaoshan people perform the Yingge Dance to  the Spring Festival. 

Usually,  number of the performers in the Yingge Dance is either 24 or 36. Each of them a role of the"108 Heroes" from Liangshan Mountain, a place in a famous traditional Chinese story. To prepare for a full day of performances, the performers have to practice for at  six months. They also have to wear heavy clothes during their practice. it is hard to work, more and more young people are joining the dancing teams because of  love for this traditional art. 

It is  that this dance is the most popular in Chaoshan towns such as Puning and Chaoyang. However, today, people in other countries like Australia and America are also getting in it. The Yingge Dance is not only a symbol of Chaoshan  , but also a belief. Chaoshanese believe it will take away the bad things and bring good luck to all of us in the coming year. 

The Shenzhou-19 crewed spaceship, China's 14th manned spaceflight, was launched into space successfully on October 30th, 2024. It was sent into orbit by a Long March 2F carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. 

Inside the rocket are astronauts Cai Xuzhe, Song Lingdong, and Wang Haoze. Wang Haoze is the first female spaceflight engineer for China. She was born in Luanping County, Hebei Province in 1990. Wang's journey to becoming an astronaut was marked by hard work and perseverance. She faced lots of challenges during her training, but she never gave up. Her determination and strong will help her push through every difficulty. She is a role model for people around the world, showing that with hard work, big dreams, and perseverance, one can overcome any difficulty and achieve great things. 

The spaceship's main job was to meet the China Space Station. It is expected to last for several months, during which the astronauts will contribute to the expansion and improvement of the space station. After some time in space, the astronauts will do many things, like doing scientific experiments, give science lessons and showing new technology. They will also go on spacewalks outside the space station. 

In conclusion, the successful launch of Shenzhou-19 is not only a technological achievement but also a symbol of China's growing progress in space exploration.
