It got much darker but quieter now. The wind seemed to have luffed off and the rain stopped as I ran gladly towards home by another much longer road. For some time neither my master nor John spoke, but then my master spoke in a serious voice.

"We were very close to losing our lives in that river, John," he said, "Men may be clever enough to think of things for themselves, but animals know things without thinking, which often saves a man's life, as it has saved ours tonight. We don't realize how wonderful the animals are, nor do we make friends with them as we should."

For two years, Google has been working hard in their secret research lab. Their latest project is called Project Wing.

Project Wing is Google's invention of a drone delivery service. It is half plane and half helicopter and is a little bit bigger than a seagull. It can deliver（投递)packages to buyers by drone to door.

Meat costs a lot at the store and it's even more expensive when you consider the related environmental and health costs. When speaking of something to eat, try local products whenever you can.

Purchasing products from local farmers keeps money in the local economy.

Bring a reusable water bottle with you when traveling or at work. Use a water filter(过滤器)to make drinking water instead of buying bottled water. Not only is bottled water expensive, but it causes large amounts of container waste.

"Hey! Ms. Woodall!" I was at the backyard of my house when I heard a voice call out my name. I turned around and saw William, one of my1 ,who loved plants and always smiled.

It was true. William was a joy in my class. When other students were having trouble understanding the lessons, he always cheered them up and brought them2 moments. However, because of his poor grades, I couldn't help3 I kept wondering if William could pass the exams because he didn't make any progress in study.
