 How do you feel when your teacher asks you to work on a group project with other students? Do you like to work together with others or work alone?

 The Programme for International Student Assessment, or PISA, carried out a survey on students' abilities to work together in groups. They found that students who do well on tests by themselves are also likely to be better at working with other people.

 This finding was true for many countries. Students in Japan, South Korea, Finland and Canada, where test scores are high, also did well in working together to solve problems.

 But this was not the case for every country. Chinese students, who achieve good grades, showed only average abilities to work together.

"One reason might be that Chinese parents and teachers focus too much on grades," said Zhao Zhongxin, former vice president of the Chinese Family Education Association. "Students have a lot of exam pressure and they view school as a place for competition."

"However, collaborative(合作的) skills are very important to prepare students for today's society," he added. "Luckily, more Chinese parents and teachers are realizing the importance of this and are thinking of ways to help students improve this skill."

 Another interesting finding from the PISA survey was that girls tend to be better than boys at working together. They said girls show more positive attitudes(积极的态度) towards relationships, which means they are more willing to listen to others' opinions.

PISA also found that the classroom environment tends to influence how well students collaborate. In classes where there are a lot of activities that require communication, such as class debates, students tend to have better attitudes toward collaborating.

 Have you ever experienced the feeling of falling as you start to fall asleep? Sometimes you may wake up to this feeling. If so, don't worry. Many people have felt the same thing.

 In fact, the muscle twitches(肌肉抽搐) in the arms, legs or other parts of the body are called hypnic jerk(入睡抽动) or sleep starts. And they are very common. Up to 70 percent of people experience them sometimes, Huffing to Post reported. But what causes it?

 There are some theories(理论). Some scientists believe that the feeling of falling comes from the body relaxing itself, especially if the person is anxious or unable to get comfortable. As you' re going to sleep, your muscles become relaxed. But your brain stays awake. It misunderstands the relaxing of your muscles as a sign that you' re falling. The brain then jerks the body awake as if it's trying to protect you.

 Other scientists believe that different phase(时期) of sleep might cause hypnic jerks. When we sleep, we experience two phases: non-rapid eye movement(NREM,非快速眼动睡眠期) and rapid eye, movement(REM,快速眼动睡眠期). During REM, our heart rate can act irregularly. If the body experiences flashes(一瞬间) of REM while entering sleep, these irregularities could cause twitches.

 If you don't want to experience hypnic jerks, scientists have some suggestions. When you become deeply relaxed, you can learn how to reconnect your body with your brain slowly by moving your fingers and toes a little bit. Then start to move your head and open your eyes so that you can avoid the muscle twitches.

 But experts agree that hypnic jerks, though sometimes scary, are harmless. If it wakes you up, simply roll over and go back to sleep, But keep in mind: a caffeinated drink, exciting evening activities or stress may make hypnic jerks happen more often.

 Arriving in Sydney on his own from India, my husband, Rashid, stayed in a hotel for a short time while looking for a house for me and our children.

 That family not only restored the important documents to us that day but also restored our faith and trust in people. We still remember their kindness and often send a warm wish their way.

 Doctors say these tips will help people prevent trouble in the text neck.

 Doctors encourage users to lift their phones to eye level rather than staring down at a screen. That way there's no added pressure from bending the neck downwards. Besides, users can look down at their phones with their eyes rather than bending their necks.

 If the previous step is too awkward(笨拙的), simply don't use your smart phone as much. Many of the tasks performed on a smart phone can also be done on desktop-based apps.

 For those who spend long periods of time on their phones, it's important to take breaks. Take a five-minute pause for every 15 minutes of smart phone use, and this one goes for tablet and laptops users too. If you' re sitting, get up, walk around and if possible, engage in step.

 There are simple stretching exercises that can make muscles and tendons happy again after a long texting session. One is to turn the head as far as possible to the left, then back to neutral, and then all the way to the right. Next tilt (倾斜) the head ear-to-shoulder to one side, then return to upright, and then tilt to the other side.

 People aren't supposed to fall asleep when they travel on airplanes and cars. When they do, the head often falls off the center of the neck, which can promote imbalance. Also, when in bed, it's important to avoid sleeping on the stomach.

When the host announced that my choir(合唱队) won the second place of the World Choir Game,I couldn't believe what I heard. All the1 that we made was worthwhile(值得的). Through this unforgotten experience,I 2 much.
