"A girl," said Mr White.

Once there was a little girl in our hospital, who couldn't walk because of a disease（疾病）, and she was very 1 . Knowing that, my workmate, Dr Brown, decided to try to help her, and he started visiting her and teaching her to 2 . Dr Brown didn't use his hands at all.

Ever since the new rules and behavior standards （行为规范） for middle school students have come out, the middle schools have been using a new way to decide who the mstudents are. These students should have high grades. And they shouldn't dye （染） their hair, smoke or drink... The following are some of the new rules:

Be friendly to the people around you. Try to think more of o, rather than doing all just for yourself.

Be open to new ideas. Don't look down on new ideas. Everyone's ideas are important. You should w them because new ideas can make life better.

Protect yourself. If you have to go home l, you should let your parents know.

Use the Internet c. The Internet can be very useful to students. But some things on the Internet aren't good for children, so try to look at the information that are r helpful to you.

Iceland is a northern European （欧洲的） country with amazing natural beauty and oceans around, and there are lots of volcanoes （火山） in the country. It has a short summer which just lasts from June to August, while its long winter lasts from September to May.

Summer is a golden season for tourists in Iceland, so every year people from all over the world come here to see the beautiful sights and enjoy the exciting whale-seeing. In winter, tourists also have a lot of special activities to spend the long dark night here. Skating, riding snow motorbikes and having parties can all make an exciting night. However, a hot bath will be the first choice for most tourists. There are also story-telling activities for children, which can teach them to be friendly and kind.

But food problem was always a headache for Iceland in the past because Iceland has a short growing season, so it had to buy most of its food from other countries. Luckily, things have changed a lot. Now its farmers use lights and underground heat to grow crops all year round in the greenhouse.

In such a nice environment, most people in Iceland, live a happy life.
