Bella invited me to her birthday party but something unexpected (出乎意料的) happened after dinner. 

"It's scary movie time!" Bella said 1 .

"Are you kidding? Watching scary things before bed will keep me 2 the whole night." I said. 

"Come on. My cousin has 3 seen this movie and he says it's not scary at all." said Bella. 

"I may ruin (破坏) your party because of my endless scream (尖叫)." I 4 .

I was very 15 that I just watched for a couple of minutes. Not only because the movie was not so much fun, but also because I was brave to refuse what I didn't like at last. 

Times change! The day I heard that the Bright Bookstore was closing, I was sad. The bookstore had been in the neighborhood for 50 years, and it was a great place where people could know each other through their love of books. 

When I met Old Tim, the store's owner, he said it was difficult to run a traditional bookstore. Most young people read e-books and more people bought books online. 

Childhood memories came back to me so clearly. A group of us kids often went to the store, spending hours reading there or just talking with Tim. Tim encouraged us to share our ideas by writing them on a large board. 

A few months later, I was back and was surprised to see that the Bright Bookstore was still open for business. It was still old, but inside it was like a different world. In an area, a book reading was going on. Nearby, some readers were sharing their ideas on a screen instead of the large board. Some were reading on computers. it even had a coffee shop selling nice food. Clearly, the Bright Bookstore was in good, creative bands. 

Tim told me that there were more community (社区) events in the coffee shop such as book readings and even concerts and movie nights. 

"Well, as you can see, technology and creativity have brought my old bookstore into the 21st century! I'm so glad to see that everything I wanted it to offer to the community is still here," said Tim. 

No matter how times change, there are always people who love reading. With the development of technology, traditional bookstores should also change in a creative way. 

Do you often ask questions? Children are known for wanting answers to many questions because curiosity (好奇心) is part of human nature. 

As we all know, curiosity has many advantages (好处). Many great discoveries (发现) in history were made by curious people. People wondered how things worked and how work could be done more quickly. Thanks to their curiosity, people now know far more about the world and have useful technology to help them. Even if you don't plan to be an inventor or researcher, curiosity can still help you in the classroom. If you develop the curiosity of learning, classes will become more interesting and you will do well in schoolwork. Even if you're no longer a student, curiosity will make you an able worker.

     ★     Luckily, curiosity is a skill that can be improved. Often, the more you learn about a topic, the more interesting it becomes. To improve your curiosity, get information from as many sources (来源) as possible, when you learn about a topic. At the same time, read all kinds of books, watch or listen to speeches and ask questions. Don't always get information in the same way. Instead, learn to understand the facts that different people know. 

Don't assume you already know everything. Remember, everyone knows something that you don't know. Find out what it is, and ask about it. This lets you learn something and makes the other people happy by sharing their knowledge. Let's try to become people who are full of curiosity.

 did this happen? Ding found the main reason was that students knew little about these workers. In order to make a change. Ding and his members shot a lot of videos and (draw) pictures to make students know more about the "invisible" staff at school. They hoped more students would see and treat  (they) nicely. 

These creative ideas  (make) a big difference so far. More and more students in Ding's school have realized how important the "invisible" staff are.
