       We can find plastic at the bottom of the ocean and on top of Mount Qomolangma （珠穆朗玛峰）. Now it has been found in another place: on the  of hermit crabs （寄居蟹）. Hermit crabs live close to the shore and have soft bodies. For protection, they  shells to use as their homes. But guess what? Some hermit crabs are now using plastic waste as their shells!

Why do the crabs choose waste over seashells? Scientists are still trying to find the answer. One idea is that there aren't enough shells as sea snail （海螺） populations are falling. What's more, plastic is light and . for crabs to carry. But there is one thing scientists agree on: Plastic pollution is changing the  of sea animals.

Q: What's the best weather for kite flying?

A: Kites can't fly without wind! But if a day is too windy, it will be 1 to fly a kite. Never fly a kite in a storm. That would be dangerous!

Q: Where's the best place to fly a kite?

A: You need a(n) 2 space like a park or a beach. Stay away from trees, buildings, crowds of people, and roads.

Q: How do you get a kite to fly?

A: You can 3 with a helper. The helper holds up the kite, facing the wind. The flier holds the kite string. The flier tells the helper to let go. Then the flier runs away and the kite 4 !

If you do not have a helper, hold the kite yourself. Start running. Then let the kite go!

Remember to hold on to the kite string!

A: Tails help a kite fly better when the wind is strong.

A: People have been flying kites for a long, long time. They have found ways to make kites look like fish, dragons, boxes, or diamonds!

If you go to Gold Sand Beach on a sunny day now, you'll see children building sandcastles on the beach and birds flying above the sea. But this wasn't always a beautiful place. If you visited there last year, it was ugly and dirty.

You can thank the students at Blue Lake School for this big c! Last October, they went there and picked up all the garbage. Now they s clean the beach every week. If they find plastic things, they'll 
put them in the recycle bins.

"We have some good ideas for next year, too," says student Jim Lee. "If we p flowers along the path （小路）, we think it will look really pretty!"

The school is going to c the students' work with a party this Saturday. You will meet many of these students if you go to the beach at 2 o'clock. There will be a competition to build the b sandcastle, 
too.

Just remember: If you bring a snack, please throw your trash in the trash bins. There're plenty of them on the beach now.

My grandpa is a doctor of Chinese medicine. He's seventy years old but he's very healthy and looks like only sixty. He still sees patients every day and gives them advice for good health.

Grandpa always tells me, "Good health is the most important part of a good life. We should have good eating habits and choose our food wisely. It's also important to do exercise and sleep well each day."

Grandpa always gets up at 5 a.m. and drinks a glass of warm water. "This helps improve （改进） the health of our stomach," he says. Then he does Tai Chi before breakfast. "We should eat like a king for breakfast," Grandpa says. 

Grandpa usually eats very little for dinner. He always goes to bed very early, usually before 9 p.m. "It's important to have enough sleep because our body needs a good rest after a day's work," says Grandpa. 

My grandpa has a very healthy life but it's difficult for me. I think I need to work hard on my bad habits.
