These years, people show all kinds of things on the Internet — good food, nice clothes, wonderful vacations and so on. Now showing the number of steps is becoming popular.

People are finding it important to be in good health. To keep healthy, many people go to work on foot. When they start walking, they open the step counter(计步器) app on their phones to record how many steps they walk that day. After a day's walk, some people show the number on WeChat or Weibo. This can make them learn from each other and keep exercising.

"This helps me to exercise much and keep a good habit," Miss Liu said. "I can also talk about

how to keep healthy with my friends on WeChat. We are in the same group to encourage each other to keep exercising."

Mr. Wu likes to exercise. But in the past he was kind of lazy and didn't want to exercise every day. "After I use the step counter app, everything is different. It's great to exercise with my friends. Sometimes there are prizes for those who walk more steps. I really like it," he said.

Walking is a relaxing and useful way to exercise. Both the old and the young like it. Recording the steps helps people develop a good habit of walking and showing the number can make people more interested in walking. But don't take the number too seriously.

Changsha is a city famous for its food and here people spend a lot of time eating. Xiang Cuisine(菜系) is one of the Eight Cuisines in China and has a fine look and a hot taste. Street dining and restaurants in the city make every visitor's mouth hot. From the special snacks(小吃) — Stinky Tofu to the famous Kou Wei Xia (spicy crayfish) at Pozi Street, there are many kinds of delicious food that will not let any visitors down. 

Chairman Mao, who was Hunanese, once said that the more chilies(辣椒) one eats, the braver one becomes. It was a joke but it shows that food can make differences to the spirit of a person. 

Pozi Street is the most popular place among visitors and it is famous for its spicy crayfish(麻辣小龙虾), a popular street food for Changsha people. The crayfishes are lightly cooked in hot water until they turn red. It would take about five minutes. They are then put in cooking oil, with hot chilies, and garlic sauce(大蒜酱) for just thirty seconds when cooking wine(料酒) and some water are added. The crayfishes are then cooked for another fifteen minutes to give them a spicy taste. The dish is spicy and hot and that's Changsha people's favorite!

Besides, there are other delicious foods including chilies with pork, duck dishes, cold dishes, soups, noodles and dumplings. Every evening, a line of restaurants on Pozi Street welcome visitors with bowls of bright-colored(鲜艳的) dishes and no one can say no to them! The crowded street will last(持续) late into the night until about three or even four o'clock!

This is the food culture in Changsha. The people there made mouth-watering(令人垂涎的) food, and the food gives people joy to enjoy their lives in the city.

Living in a smart city means you are sharing data(数据) all the time. When you use an online map, the map will know where you are. When you watch a video online, the website will know what you like to watch. When you chat with someone on a game app, it will know who your friends are. This can make your life easier. But sometimes, others can get your data and misuse(滥用) it. This can be dangerous.

When someone sends you a friend request(申请), you should take a look at his or her personal information. Do you have any friends in common? Where do they live? And check your privacy settings(隐私设置). 

 Think before scanning your face.

Facial recognition(人脸识别) can help to find out who you are.  When you get into a shopping mall or a restaurant, or take out a package from a self-service locker, you'd better not choose facial recognition because it can give out your personal information.

The reality show is a kind of television program. Usually a reality show has many series. And it can be on TV for many years.

The reality show is quite different from other kinds of TV shows. One of the main reasons is that it shows the life of common people and no actors or actresses play in it. It often shows stories that happen in people's daily life. So many people like to watch reality shows. The first reality show appeared in the 1990s in America. At that time, the most famous and popular reality show was Survivor(《幸存者》). It was popular not only in America, but also around the world.

Reality shows also show different kinds of competitions. For example, there is a Chinese reality show called The Voice of China. In this show, there are four famous Chinese singers. Their job is to find their favorite students and help them be the winner. The show is very successful. Many people like to watch it. 

Andrew was a smart boy. He liked doing things in a way that he thought to be clever. But sometimes he made1 choices.

One day, his father gave him some2 and asked him to buy some goldfish. When he got to the market, he found that the killifish looked like small goldfish, and they were much3 . So he bought some killifish and kept the rest of the money for himself.

There are certain traditions at a Chinese New Year celebration. For example, people would give a red envelope, or Hongbao, to  (they) children or grandchildren for good luck in the coming New Year. It is a good way to show love, good (wish) or blessings(祝福). This tradition  (start) more than 2,000 years ago. During the celebration, people can  (easy) see dragon dances and other traditional activities. Most importantly,  some of the family members work and live in different cities, they will all get together to have a family reunion(团圆) dinner.

In fact, all of these traditions have one thing  common — people wish to have good luck and look forward to  (make) bigger progress in the coming year.
