I was born without legs, but my parents wanted me to live the most normal（正常的）life possible.They would like me to try new things.So I played T-ball, soccer, track and other sports using wheelchairs（轮椅）, but couldn't really keep up. 

I started playing sled hockey（雪橇曲棍球）when I was 8, and I fell in love with it at once.It is not played in a wheelchair.Instead, we move around the ice on sleds.We use two sticks（球棒）, both to skate and to shoot and pass the ball. 

____.I watched the national men's team and thought, that's what I want to do.When I was 12, I did well in the youth games and tournaments, so I started playing on the men's team, with the men between 20 and 50 years old.It was so crazy, but it excited me. 

In 2014, when I was 15, I became the youngest player to ever compete on the U.S.sled hockey team at the Paralympics（残奥会）.It felt like a dream.I went from being a normal high-school kid to flying to Russia and competing on stands and enjoyed it all. 

As players, we're always trying news ways to shoot, working on things that no one notices but make a big difference on the ice.For us, there is a lot of practice, but we usually get to play on a couple of games a year.The Paralympics in Beijing lot us test everything we have worked so hard for.We finally won gold.It was our fourth gold medal in this big game.

I was ten years old.My grandmother sat in the chair under the tree.It was late 1  and there were sunflowers in the garden.My grandmother was knitting（编织）a sweater for the winter months.She was very 2  and had grey hair, her eyes wore not very strong, but her hands 3  quickly.

However, I knew who she was.Because grandmother still smiled in the same way, even though she didn't have as many13  . 

I held the photo in my hand looking from it to my grandmother and back again, trying to find something in common between the old14  and the little girl.It was a soft warm summer afternoon, and I am guessing how I will look like if I am at my grandmother's age.Perhaps my grandchildren will have more interesting smiles when they look at my photos at my young age.This is 15 , changeable but fun.

It's important to help children understand how to manage（管理）money.When are children old enough to learn about money?You might be surprised by the answer."Research（研究）shows that children develop（发展）their habits by age seven, " says Jessica Pelletier, a professor at the research center. "So, we need to start teaching them about healthy money decisions（决定）while they arc getting to know about money." 

In fact, the research center starts its plan at age six, when most kids are in their first year of primary school.Knowledge about money can't be learned in a day.It can take a lifetime. "For this reason, we hope that parents can starț talking about money as early as possible." says Pelletier.By year one, for example, kids should be learning sharing（分享）.By year three of primary school, kids should start learning the responsibility（责任）of having pocket money, and by year four, kids should start practising saving money. 

Usually, children watch how the adults in their lives make money decisions first.Then, parents can begin the conversation with their children about money.The important thing is, if the adults in children's lives can know more about managing money, they can help their kids understand better. 

And the best way to keep kids interested in learning about money is through games and fun activities.Here Pelletier shares her experience on teaching these knowledge to kids through play.She takes them on adventures（冒险）such as getting a gift card for their birthday, researching what they want to be when they grow up, and coming along with their big sister as she shops for clothes to watch how and why she makes these decisions. "Playing games about money management is a fun way to learn.Kids can learn while having fun", she says.

Once I was looking after a little girl who was six years old.I took her to a park  foot.This walk wasn't toof  .I knew we could see a waterfall on the way.I went there, long time ago, so I was expecting to  （ see）it as well. 

We went walking along, talking about the waterfall that we were going to see.I told her that it was pretty big.We can even see the top before it  （ fall）.
