To my surprise （吃惊）,my classmate,Laura,asked me to be an actor for a puppet show （木偶戏） at the opening ceremony （开幕式） with her!"Me?Can I?""Yes!" she answered.When I was free,I studied the play （剧本） carefully and practiced （练习） it really hard.I also learned from my classmates.I made some mistakes （犯错误）,but the puppet show was a great success （成功）.Everyone in my class gave me a big hand.I cried （哭） but felt happy. 

Two days later,I told an English story at the Talent Show.I never did that before.I worried about it first,but I looked for some useful ways online and asked my teachers for some help.On the big day,I could tell it really well. 

Now,I start to think what I can do for next year's Talent Show —— to show myself again!

If you take the train to Chongqing North Train Station and don't know how to get to the place you want to go,you can ask the two old grandpas for help.They are Old Xu and Old Zhao.Old Xu is 75 years old.He lives near the station.Every morning he gets up very early.After breakfast,at eight o'clock he gets to North Train Station.He puts on his yellow waistcoat （背心） and starts to work——walking around and showing people the way.Old Xu works five to six hours a day and helps hundreds of people.He knows the bus routes （线路） in Chongqing very well,so people call him "a walking map".Old Zhao is Old Xu's "student".He is 70 years old.He thinks Old Xu is doing a good job,so he comes to help him.Both of them say helping others makes themselves happy. 

These days,the two grandpas are learning English.Why?They see there are more and more foreigners coming to China and they want to help them.We must give them the thumbs—up （点赞）!

①Eyes are important to us.We use them to read books,see colors and the beauty of the world,so we must keep our eyes healthy.But today there are more and more people having eye problems.This is because of their bad eye habits,like watching TV too long and reading books in bed.But don't worry.Here are some useful ways to protect （保护） our eyes. 

②First,try to use our eyes in a right way.When we read books,we must keep our eyes 0.3 meters away from the book.When watching TV,we must keep a light on in the room.Try not to use smart phones in the sun.Spend less （更少的） time in front of screens.One or two hours a day is OK for your eyes. 

③Second,find out what is the best food to keep eyes healthy.Milk,fruit and vegetables are good for our eyes,because they have much vitamin A,C,D and E.Also,sea fish and other seafood （海鲜） are helpful to eye health.And according to a new study,having unhealthy （不健康） food like ice—cream and Coke for a long time can even make us lose our eyesight （视力）. 

④What's more,we should also know what to do when we have eye problems.If our eyes get hurt,go to the doctor right away,Blink （眨眼） often and this can help us stop dry eyes.If we get something into our eyes,don't rub （揉） them with our hands.Try to use clean water to wash them. 

⑤We only have one pair of eyes.Without （没有） good eyes,we will lose a lot of fun in life.So,let's try our best to keep them healthy.
