Badbehaviour is a problem for some young people and for their parents andteachers! But children1behave badly in a classroom environmentare not necessarily bad at heart. Some children may have difficult experiencesin their home lives, and some may never2how to behave properly.

Sometimeschildren like this are far3than they seem.4childrenmight behave badly for a more positive reason—they do not pay attention in theclassroom because5they are learning is not difficultenough for them.

A popularway for parents to deal with "problem children" is6themto summer camps. At these camps, the children are forced to improve theirbehaviour under strict rules, 7notto be punished. 8, such programs usually only have ashort term effect. A more effective choice might be a program which helpschildren develop new interests. Comedy(喜剧) Camp tries to do just that.

At Comedy Camp, professionalcomedians train children and help them9 their confidence 10performingon stage. Children get a chance to try different forms of comedy: stand-up,skits(滑稽短剧),monologues(独白), impersonation(模仿) and so on. Then they choose a piece11workon and practise it12they can perform it well.13thecourse, children perform on stage to show how much they have grown. Hopefully,they14the course with a new interest whichthey can take away. 15may help to improve their behaviour.

For Pineda, it was a long way to succeed.

His story began in El Salvador; where he was born with something wrongwith his mouth. He had great 1inspeaking.  At age 2, his family's houseburned down. Pineda was hurt 2,andhis legs needed to be cut. His mother died when he was 8, and he3yearson the streets before he was taken in by an orphanage(孤儿院).

Finally, at the orphanage, Pineda began to receive support andencouragement. He taught himself to play the guitar. He began his4withother musicians. Then the group went to Chicago, where Pineda, then 18,5theattention of many people, who wondered what they could do to help him.

A hospital offered him free medical care. A rich managreed to6for Pineda's tickets to and from ElSalvador.

When he was in the hospital, Pineda began7music,and wondered if he might be able to record his own album(音乐专辑).Soonwith the help of a musician, "The Soundof Gratitude(感激)" was born. On October 15^th,Pineda went to a Chicago club to8his new songs tostrangers, and to the friends who had helped him come so far.

It was 9thatPineda had come into such a good luck, after having so many years of hardship(艰难). "We have a10inEl Salvador, ‘Suffer(受难）first, then enjoy. ' I guessthat's what's happening. " he said.

What problems do the teenagers probably have? Here is a survey showing their main problems.

Many people take running as a way to keep fit. They like to run in hot weather and enjoy the feeling of being wet through with sweat while running. Cold weather during winter months, with low temperatures and freezing cold winds, may keep many people from running in the open air.

However, a new study shows that the drop in temperature is a good reason to run. In fact, running in cold weather helps improve one's performance. Many runners might find it easier to run in winter than in hot weather.

Lower temperatures reduce stress on the body. When you run in cold weather, your heart rate is lower. And the body needs less water on a cold day than in warm weather because dehydration levels are lower in winter than in warmer conditions.

John Brewer is a professor of applied sports science at ST. Mary's University in London. For this study, he and other researchers put a group of people into a room where summer and winter weather conditions are recreated. The test subjects, were asked to run 10,000 meters under both conditions and their biological measurements were recorded and studied.

From the study, every movement runners make produces heat. The heat can be really damaging unless the body can lose it. One way in which people lose heat is by sweating. The body loses heat through droplets of sweet. The body also loses it by transporting the blood to the surface of the skin and it puts more stress on the heart, particularly in hot conditions because it's much harder to lose heat when the outside environment is warm. As the result shows running in hot temperatures results in 6 percent higher heart rates. 

When running in cold conditions, the body does not have to work hard to pump blood to the skin surface. Therefore, it requires less energy. The most important thing for people who run in cold conditions is to wear the right clothing. Keep as dry as possible when exercising in low temperatures. Wear mittens on your hands instead of gloves. Wear more than one layer of clothing to keep sweat away from your skin. So don't let winter weather keep you indoors. Simply get ready for the low temperatures and start running.

Teachers want to get along with you and enjoy seeing you learn. But teachers and students sometimes have a clash (冲突). This can happen between any two people. If you show your teacher that you want to make the situation better, he or she will probably do everything possible to make that happen. Take these steps if the problem seems difficult to solve.

★Talk to an adult you trust.

★Give it time. You may not feel comfortable at once with your teachers, but that may change as you get to know each other.

★If necessary, talk with your parents about what to do next. Lots of times, a meeting can be set up to discuss the problem. This may clear the air and make things better. Everyone's goal should be to create trust and kindness.

Your relationship with your teachers is often your first chance to develop a “business relationship”. It is different from your family relationship and friendship, which are built on love. In a business relationship, both parties get something out of the relationship. But they don't necessarily need to be good friends, like each other or understand each other well. They simply need to respect each other and be polite.

When you act this way, and remember that you're not the only kid in the class, you are helping your teacher. Your teacher will notice this. Teachers also like it when students follow directions and when they learn and obey the rules of the classroom. For example, these may be rules about listening when another student is talking, about taking turns, or about raising your hand when you want to say something or ask a question.

Joe was a boy with a special ability. He could make himself cry in less than a second. In this way, he could get almost everything he wanted.

One day, Joe met Pipo. Pipo had no family and was very poor. He was asking people for some money in the street. When people offered him some money, he would do something for them in return. Joe decided to help him make some money. He took off his hat, put it face-up on the ground and started crying sadly.

In a few minutes, Joe's hat was full of money, but when Joe gave Pipo the money, Pipo declined.

“It's much more fun making an effort to get things. Maybe I haven't got everything I want, but I've done a lot of interesting things,” said Pipo. Joe walked away sadly. He had got everything he wanted, but he'd done nothing interesting the whole day. He hadn't even enjoyed himself by spending almost all his time crying.

That evening, Joe wanted a piece of cake for his supper. When his mum refused, he wanted to cry. But he remembered what Pipo said. So he tried to get the cake in some other ways. To the joy and surprise of his parents, Joe spent the whole evening helping his mother with the housework. In the end, there was no cake. But that wasn't so bad because Joe discovered it was much more fun doing all those things that evening rather than just sitting crying to get a piece of cake.

Scientists have known for years that people who exercise can live longer than those who do not.   Some people might think that walking is not helpful enough to offer any health benefits(好处).

They may say that playing sports or running hard would be much better because they burn more energy.

When you stop and think about it, however, walking is one of the things that almost anyone can do at any time. Unlike many sports, you can enjoy doing it alone and you don't need any special equipment(装备).

One of the best things about walking is that it can strengthen your heart.  It will make blood move faster and give your circulatory system(循环系统) a workout. This also helps to manage blood pressure. As a result, you can lower the risk of having a stroke(中风) by up to 27%.

Even a short 30-minute walk at 3 kilometres per hour can burn off 75 calories for a person who weighs 60 kilograms. A daily walking routine can be a good part of a weight loss plan. To lose weight, a walking routine also seems easier to keep than other exercise.

Finally, walking can make you a much happier person! Walking causes some helpful materials in the brain. Walking is an excellent way to make people feel less stressful and angry.

Last winter holiday, I visited a village with only 11 houses. T the village was very small, I

 sa whole day in it.

The village became well-known because of Grandpa Huang's hard work. He bought a house there over 30 years ago, but in 2010 the village was to be pulled down. In o to save the old village, Grandpa Huang painted on the walls of his own house and other houses. He painted things that he liked. In the village, there were many paintings of animals, such as cats and birds. The most ppaintings for visitors were famous people. One of them was a picture of Andy Lau, my favourite singer. I liked him very much. It is said that Grandpa Huang painted the super singers because he is also a great fan of them.

I really had a  wtime in the village and wished to visit it again.
