So sit down for a few hours in a nice place. In good weather, look for a quiet park bench.

    Sleep is also important. If you want to stay healthy, you need to get enough sleep. Your hotel room may be noisy, or the bed may be too hard. Or you may want to stay out late at night. Then you should plan to sleep for an hour during the day. The extra hour can make a big difference.

    Finally，if you want to stay healthy, you must eat well. That means eating the right kinds of food. Your body needs fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, milk and cheese.

    So, remember this: if you want to enjoy your vacation, take good care of yourself. Give your body some rest. Get enough sleep and eat healthy food.

    Fred is a sports fan(迷). He likes all kinds of sports games. He never plays football, but he knows much about it. When there is a football game on TV, he watches it. Sometimes he does not go to school.

    One day, there are two games on TV. One is at 8:00 in the morning, and the other begins at two in the afternoon. Fred decides to stay at home for the whole day.

    At 7:30, Fred's mother comes to Fred. She sees him still in bed.

    "Is there anything wrong with you?" she asks.

    "I am not feeling well," Fred answers.

    "Shall I take you to the doctor?" she asks.

    Fred's mother hurries out of the room. Now Fred gets out of his bed quickly.

    He turns on the TV and sits in front of it. How exciting the game is! He forgets all about his lessons.

    To his surprise, his mother comes back for the key to her office.

    "Are you really ill?" she asks.

    "Well, er... I'm all right now. Sports is good medicine," Fred says.

Dear Liz,

Thailand is wonderful. Life in Bangkok is busy and interesting. My host family lives in a nice and quiet town outside the city. There are Mr and Mrs Phairat, their son Sanan and their daughter Chinda in the family.

I go to an international (国际的) school with Sanan and Chinda. I'm good at the spoken language, but Thai writing is very difficult. The cooking class is my favorite. When I come back, I will cook you a real Thai meal.

Last weekend I went to Pattaya Beach with Sanan and Chinda by car. I thought it was great. Next month we will go to Phuket Island. My parents went there last year, Now Chinda is teaching me how to swim. I hope I can swim happily with her on Phuket Island.

Elephants are very important in Thailand. People use them to do work. They also ride them and wash them. They look very interesting.

My grandparents, my parents and I had some dumplings for breakfast and then drove to Mount Song. At nine, we arrived at the foot of Mount Song and began to climb the mountain. It was cold, but we were all excited at first. We chose a road that visitors seldom took because we thought it would be fun. After two hours we found that the road conditions (路况) were getting worse. At half past twelve, we got to the top of the mountain. But it began to snow! All of us were cold and hungry. Soon we got to a small restaurant. It only sold instant noodles (方便面). One bowl of noodles was ten yuan and we had to pay for the hot water! Each of us had a bowl of noodles and gained some strength. There were no cable cars, so we had to walk down the mountain. Four hours later, we finally got to the foot of the mountain. What an unusual day!
