It's hard to be an astronaut's son. Everybody expects you to be 1. I'm just a normal eleven-year-old kid. My father is so good at everything. I often wonder 2 my father ever had a son like me.

2021 is the year of the ox(牛). In March, a set of stamps about the famous Tang Dynasty painting, Five Oxen, came out. It allows more people to know better the great art of ancient China, as well as the importance of agriculture(农业) in history.

Han Huang (723-787) was the painter of Five Oxen. He worked as a government official in the Tang Dynasty. His paintings were loved by many because the animals he painted were so alive. Unluckily, Five Oxen is probably his only painting left.

Five Oxen is one of the best animal paintings in China's art history. In the painting, the five oxen are in a line. They are of different colors and shapes. And each has a different appearance, walking or standing, holding their heads high or low. With lively expressions and bright eyes, the oxen show the spirit of doing hard work without complaints(抱怨). As the name suggests,  ▲ . It makes people focus on the oxen themselves.

The painting was missing in 1900. Luckily, it returned to China during the early 1950s. However, it was terribly broken with many holes in it. Great efforts were made to save it. Now Five Oxen, probably the oldest Chinese painting on paper, is kept with care in the Palace Museum in Beijing.

Yuan Longping is a great scientist who developed hybrid rice(杂交水稻) in China. His research greatly solved the problem of the food shortage in the world.

Yuan Longping started the research in 1964. He put forward the idea of hybrid rice, did experiments(实验) on the farm, and succeeded in 1973. The new technology was tested in many areas of South China in 1974, and then he continued to test it in other areas. China has become the first country that can produce hybrid rice. Yuan made it possible to grow hybrid rice in large amounts, and he is called the "Father of Hybrid Rice".

Besides being a respected(受人尊重的) scientist, he is also a romantic husband and a caring grandfather.

Yuan's granddaughters remembered that when he traveled to Hong Kong, he wanted to buy his wife a new watch, but it was too expensive, so he bought a candy instead. When he was 90 years old, his family held a birthday party. Hundreds of people came to the party. There was a moving moment：Yuan cut the first piece of cake and immediately gave it to his wife. They also said that their grandfather paid much attention to their English and math studies. No matter how tired he was after work, he would still ask about their studies.

Yuan Longping loved playing the violin, swimming and driving. What's more, he had a special habit—playing mahjong(麻将) with friends for an hour every evening to train his brain. Just like common people, the scientist laughed when he won and didn't hide his disappointment when he lost. When his requirement(请求) to build a research center was agreed to, he was very excited.

This is Yuan Longping: an ordinary(普通的) person who made great achievements.

① With most people staying at home because of COVID-19, livestreaming(直播) has taken off. It is not only fun and interesting, but has also provided a new stage(舞台) for traditional culture artists.  

② On video sites and apps such as Douyin and Bilibili, many traditional artists are trying livestreaming for the first time. Some of them sing Peking Opera, some show their hand-made products, while others perform classical Chinese music.  

③ Li Jun is a laosheng (old male role) Peking Opera performer with the Shanghai Jingju Theater Company. During the outbreak, the 59-year-old started livestreaming for the first time. Unlike performing on a formal stage, Li uses everyday places as his stage, including his backyard, study room, and even the kitchen. Besides singing, Li also teaches viewers about Peking Opera in a humorous way.

④ People can ask him questions and get answers directly. "Livestreaming has brought this elegant(高雅的) art down to earth, " one viewer said. "It allows young people to get closer to this traditional art and learn more about it. " Up to now Li has more than 6, 000 fans on Douyin, while one of his videos has received 42, 000 views on Bilibili.  

⑤ Other kinds of artists also see livestreaming as a new opportunity. On March 26, the third China Huafu Day, Bilibili livestreamed a fashion show. Performers presented beautiful clothes in traditional Chinese styles, including those from the Wei (220-265), Tang (618-907) and Ming (1368-1644) dynasties. During the show, viewers not only enjoyed seeing the clothes but also watching how performers use ancient styles of make-up. For example, one blogger taught people how to draw the guiye eyebrow(桂叶眉) which was a typical make-up style during the Tang Dynasty.  

⑥ As Guangming Daily noted, livestreaming has created a new way in which traditional culture can be kept alive.  

Years ago, if a teacher had some problems in his life, he might write them in the diary. But now a teenager may go online and write his （每日的）feelings in a micro blog（微博）. Diaries and micro blogs both  （提醒）the writers of what happened to them on a certain day. But what makes micro blogs different from diaries?

One of the biggest differences is that micro blogs attract more (注意力), while diaries are too （私人的）. Nowadays people are （积极的）in writing micro blogs because they want others to read the things about them as much as possible. Also, a few special or interesting online micro blogs can be （传播）and become famous. As they write more micro blogs, their fans may （增加）as well. Therefore, some people may show the moments when they feel happy, some may share the （幽默的）stories or experiences, and some even write （小说）in their micro blogs.

If people are caring about what they write and （谁）the readers may be, micro blogs are without doubt a good way to write about their life.

We all need clean water every day. However, more than 700 million people around the world have difficulty  (get) clean and safe water.

On the one hand, treating waste water is a good way  (provide) fresh water for us. When we think of summer, most of us think of fun activities outdoors. So it seems easy to lose weight over the summer. In fact, though, it's quite possible for us to put on weight. The good news is that we can avoid these problems if we know these ways.

Here are some ways to keep summer weight away.

When we don't have a plan, it's easy to spend summer moving from bed to the computer. So it is necessary to make a work or study plan, like learning a new skill or working at a job.

Because we don't have to go to school, it's easy to sleep late, watch too much TV and eat more snacks as usual. So it's necessary to make sure your summer days follow a schedule -- getting up at the same time each day and eating meals as usual times.

Whenever you're free, find something special to do, like making a dinner for your family. But remember: limit your screen time, no more than two hours a day.

If it's too hot outside or you don't like going to a gym, you can do you exercise indoors. If you love being outdoors, try swimming, running or playing soccer in the early morning or evening. Anyway, don't let the heat stop your exercise plans.

Don't eat too much meat. Choose some fresh fruit. It's better to put your focus on talking with your family and friends, not on food. Also, don't eat too many frozen things like ice cream.
