Travelling is a special kind of adventure. Last summer, I began one of my1 adventures of a lifetime. I moved from a tiny city in England to Beijing, the capital of China. The "left­behind" children (留守儿童) are children whose parents are working in cities far away from them. A program1On the Way to School did a research(调查)among 2，000 children living in poor areas. The research showed that 15. 1% of the children can't see their2 in a whole year, even during the Spring Festival. About 8. 9 million children could talk with their parents on the phone only once or twice a year. And about 15. 2 million children could get phone calls from   3 parents every three months.

My name is Eric. Last July, I went to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. It was a wonderful trip because I spent time with my family. I went there with my dad, mom, brother and sister. We had lots of fun there.

We took my dad's new car to Florida. It was a long trip but we enjoyed ourselves on the way. We went to a dinner show — Jolly Holiday. It has funny characters and lots of singing. We enjoyed it.

I went on rides with my dad, brother and sister. We went on Splash Mountain. We went through a tunnel (隧道). We saw different Disney characters. My mom took photos of me with different Disney characters. We saw Cinderella at the Magic Kingdom. She gave a show with her friends. At the Beach Club Resort, my family saw Chip and Dale. They walked around to meet everyone.

It was Christmas Eve and it was very , so everybody wore warm clothes. A poor girl was selling matches(火柴) near the shop.  nobody wanted to buy any. She sat down and looked  the matches. She felt cold and hungry. She struck(划) a match.

She suddenly had a strange feeling. She felt she became light and slowly she began to   into the sky. She flew higherhigher, and at last she found herself on the clouds. Suddenly, she saw her granny. And she welcomed her and asked hershe didn't stay at home. That girl told her that she had to sell matches to get money her parents were badly ill. Granny told her not to worry, and she gave her lots of beautiful clothes to wear and deliciousto eat. The girl smiled happily.

It snowed heavily that night. The girl died with a smile on her face. Atsame time, the people in the beautiful houses began toChristmas songs, and enjoy themselves.    

It's very important to stay healthy. I have a neighbor. She is an old lady. She can do all the housework, and she often reads newspapers and watch TV to learn something new. I often see her do Tai Chi(太极) in the morning and dance in the evening. She is over 70. But she still looks young and beautiful. Last week, a reporter from a magazine interviewed(采访) her. She answered with a smile. She said, "It's quite easy. Keep your mind active. Take an interest in the world around you as often as you can. "
