The Chang'e 5 robotic probe (探测器) has become China's first spaceship to bring the country's national flag to the Moon.

In Chang'e 3 and 4 tasks, the national flag was painted on the spaceship. Therefore, the flag carried by Chang'e 5 is the first Chinese national flag that has been planted on the Moon.

The system to raise the flag was designed and produced by engineers at China Space Sanjiang Group in Hubei Province. It has three parts.

Because of the strong radiation (辐射) and the terrible temperatures on the Moon, we couldn't use traditional fabrics (面料). If we place an ordinary flag on the Moon, its colors will quickly become lighter. Designers spent more than one year choosing and testing ideal materials, and finally picked a new kind of material that can resist the very difficult conditions on the Moon.

On June 3, 2020, the Ministry of Education (MOE) (教育部) gave a revised (修订后的) course for high schools across the county. Labor education, also called education on the hardworking spirit, range from housework to school labor and community voluntary services (社会志愿服务).

"Labor education must be carried out with the aim to develop the view of the world, life and values and develop an interest in doing chores." said Zheng Fuzhi, a Vice-Minister (副部长) of Education.

According to China Youth Daily, the labor course will take six credits—the same as English and physics, Voluntary service, as part of labor education, would take two credits. The MOE also asks schools to make sure 40 hours of voluntary service during the full three school years.

According to Xinhua, adding labor education was out of care that the country's youngsters do too little housework and that they think labor jobs aren't important. Because of a lot of school stress, schools pay more attention to the educational course, and parents sometimes think that housework wastes their kids' time.

According to a survey, primary and middle school students in China only spend 12 minutes a day on chores, compared with 72 minutes in the US, 42 minutes in South Korea and 30 minutes in France.

However, doing housework does not take young people's attention away. Instead, it is necessary for developing a strong working spirit. "The earlier you start, the better..." the writer of How to Raise an Adult said.

Recycling is a way to take rubbish and turn it into new products. It's helpful to our environment. There are a number of different recycling steps that allow materials to be used more than once.

All kinds of materials can be recycled. Some of the most common things in use today include recycling plastic, glass, metals and paper. Things made of these materials include soda cans, plastic milk boxes, newspapers, computers and cardboard boxes.

There are a number of advantages for recycling. These include: Landfills—Recycling materials means less rubbish and saves space in landfills. Resources—When we use materials again this means we can take fewer resources from the earth. Pollution—in general, recycling materials can produce less pollution, helping to keep our environment clean.

Be sure to recycle everything you can in your house and school. There is almost a "recycle" rubbish can around. Be sure to drop your used aluminum cans and plastic bottles there. At home, be sure to put paper things like the newspapers, paper boxes, and homework pages into the recycle box.

Plastics are usually marked with an identification code that shows a recycling symbol and a number from 1 to 7. This shows that the type of chemicals, or materials, is used in making the plastic. Used paper can be recycled around seven times.

It is high time we set up a recycle station in every street, across the city and the country, so the cleaners can transport the rubbish conveniently. This is the only way out for handling rubbish without causing danger to the environment and our health. For ourselves, our children and our children's children, let's take action NOW!

Vicky liked dog biscuits . She thought of a way to get the biscuits for herself.

As a little dog, Vicky had learned to watch for the postman. Every day she went to meet him. He gave her all the letters. She brought these to Mrs. Smith—sometimes as many as six at a time.

One day Vicky brought only one letter to Mrs. Smith. But the little dog looked excited about something. How happily her feet danced as she followed Mrs. Smith to the cupboard!
