Charlotte Kelly shares how she celebrated Father's Day with her father, astronaut Scott Kelly:

     I am on the summer break from school right now. school ended, my dad set up a video conference(视频会议) with my class. All of the kids really seeing him and asking him questions about space. I couldn't help laughing when I saw him eat a piece of floating(漂浮的) strawberry . Two days ago, my mom and I went to a party with my Holly and her family. Just around 9:10 pm, we were all able to at the night sky and see the International Space Station(国际空间站) fly over. It looked like a star just moving across the sky. Then it after four minutes.

     Today is Father's Day. My sister and I were able to do a video conference with our dad at the time. She was in Houston, I was in Virginia Beach and my dad was flying over us! Really! He was flying over us. He put his video monitor(视频监视器)in his window and took a picture of Virginia Beach from . How wonderful!

    "Everything happens for the best." Whenever I faced disappointment, my mother would say this to me.

    After I graduated from college in 2002, I decided to find a job in radio as a sports announcer (播音员 ).I went to Chicago and knocked at the door of every station. But unluckily, I was refused every time.

    At one station, a kind lady told me that big stations wouldn't hire(雇用) an inexperienced person and suggested that I try my luck at smaller stations. Following her advice, I went back to Dixon. There were no radio-announcing jobs in Dixon, and my father said a newly-opened store wanted a local sportsman to work for it. I applied for the job, but I was refused again.

    "Everything happens for the best," Morn reminded me. I tried WOC Radio in Davenport, Lowa. The program director, Peter, told me they had already hired an announcer.

    I left his office, and felt totally disappointed. While I was waiting for the elevator, 1 heard someone calling. It was Peter. "What do you know about sports? Do you know anything about football?" Then he asked me to broadcast (播报) an imaginary game. Pleased with my performance, he offered me a chance to work there.

    On my way home, I thought on my mother's words, "If you carry on, one day something good will happen. Something wouldn't have happened if not for that previous (先前的) disappointment. "

    Be pleased to do anything even though it is very tiny. In fact, there's no single thing that is not worth doing or you are not able to do. So living a happy life with a light heart is the most important. A good mood decides your quality of life. Then 1 can you live a happy life?

    Make each day meaningful(有意义的)by helping someone or just making someone smile. The feeling which makes you want to help others 2 at the bottom of your heart. Happiness depends on your feelings in your heart. Helping others is helping yourself. By helping others, you 3 more. Seeing their satisfied smile will make you feel 4 of what you have done.

    Face difficulties bravely in your life. 5 may meet with difficulties. No one can avoid them. The difficulties can teach you a lot. They are your treasure. They will help you to be closer to 6 Focus on the good experiences you 7 in the past few years. Be grateful to life. Don't think too much about the negative things. They 8 bad weather. Bad weather will pass sooner or later, and so will the negative things. You may find many dead ends in your life, but you will 9 find your way out of them. Everything will get better at last.

    Never worry about the things you can't change. Worrying isn't useful. Worrying can 10 change the situation   11   solve any problem. Perhaps, not every dream will be realized; not every effort(努力 ) will be completed. Never mind, and take it easy.
