    Hi, my name is Anna. I'm a Chinese girl, but now I live in England. I can speak English, but I often make mistakes. Yesterday we went to a farm, I was very happy, and I said I wanted to see a ship. Then everyone looked at me surprised and I didn't know why.

    My teacher said: "Anna, we are going to go to a farm, not to a lake or the sea. There are no ships at the farm …” Then I knew my mistake. I wanted to say "sheep”, the animal that says "baa(羊叫声) …"; not "ship", a big boat on the water!

    It's a sunny day today. My mother and I will have a picnic in the park. There are many people in the park.

    There are some women flying kites. And there are some Young Pioneers(少先队员). Two boys are playing with a ball. A girl is drawing.

    Look at the big tree. There are many birds in it. They are singing. There is a man under the tree. He is sleeping.

    There are many postcards from China. Look at this one. This is the Dongting Lake. It's in Hunan. It's a beautiful lake in China. Look at this square. It's Tian'anmen Square in Beijing. And this one is the Great Wall. It's famous too. It's more than twenty thousand kilometres long. There is a famous mountain in Anhui. It's the Huangshan Mountain.

    My name is Jim. I live in London. I want a pen friend from China. I'm 13 years old. I can speak English and French. I like music, riding my bicycle and collecting stamps. My favourite festival is Thanksgiving. On this day we have a big family dinner and we say "thank you" for our food, family and friends.

    Christmas is a special Western(西方的) festival. Before Christmas, people send Christmas cards to their family and friends. They buy Christmas trees and put them in their homes. They also buy presents and put them under the Christmas trees. Family members often open their presents on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day. Then the family get together(团聚) and have a big family dinner.

      Hello, everyone. Do you know Spring Festival? I like it very much. On Spring Festival, I often wear new clothes and have a big dinner with my family. In the evening, we watch TV and making dumplings. Most Chinese people like eating dumplings. I like eating them, too. At night we go outside to look at the lanterns and play with fireworks（烟火）.It is very wonderful.

    Lucy is my friend. She lives in a small house near a park in Canada. I am ten, Lucy is ten , too. Lucy tell me more about Canada. I know Canada is such a big country. So I want to learn English. And I tell Lucy more about China. Lucy likes China and she wants to learn Chinese . We usually write emails to each other on Saturdays and Sundays.

    It is five in the afternoon. There are a lot of students in the playground. Some are jumping. Some are dancing. Some are playing football! Tom and Mike are playing ping-pong. The man with small eyes are watching them. He is their P.E .teacher. He is a good teacher. The children like him very much.

    Everyone has his or her hobbies, collecting stamps is my hobby. I collect many kinds of stamps. Now there are many stamps in my room. I like stamps very much, because the stamps are beautiful and I can learn many things from these stamps. I plan to have many pen pals and I will often write to them. Then I will collect more stamps from the letters.
