    Mr White looks out of his window. There is a boy at the side of the street. The boy takes some bread out of a bag and begins eating it. There is a very thin dog in the street, too. Then Mr White comes out of his house and says to the boy, "I'll give you a shilling(先令,英国货币)." The boy is happy and says, "OK." "Come here," Mr White says. The boy goes to him, but Mr White doesn't give him a shilling. He hits him with a stick. The boy cries and says, "Why do you hit me? I don't ask you for any money." "No," Mr White says, "And the dog doesn't ask you for any bread, but you kick it."

    An old woman wants to go to New York to see her son. She gets up early and gets to the station at nine o'clock in the morning. When does the train come and leave? She is very worried. She stops a boy and asks him. The boy looks at the woman and says “two to two”. The old woman sits in the chair and thinks and thinks.

   Bill got up at 7:00. He brushed his teeth, then he had breakfast at 7:20. He walked to school at 7:40. He played a game with his friends after school. He didn't win, but he was also very happy. He went back at 5:30. It was time for dinner.

    I'm Amy. I'm going to go shopping with my mother this Sunday. I am very happy. There are lots of good things at the supermarket. So we should make a shopping list. We need to buy lots of things.     Yesterday was Saturday. It was sunny. I got up at 7:30. After breakfast, I went to the beach with Alice. There were many people on the beach. We ran, jumped and played volleyball on the sands. We swam in the sea. Some men fished on a boat. We had a good time. We were tired, but happy.
