    Mr. and Mrs. Hand have a cute brown dog. His name is Dave. He is 3 years old now. He likes eating meat and vegetables but he doesn't eat rice. Mr. and Mrs. Hand like their dog very much. They are often at home with him and never take him out for a walk(散步).

    One day, Dave is ill(生病) and he doesn't eat any food. Mrs. Hand worries about (担心) him very much, so she takes Dave to the animal (动物) hospital. The doctor says, "Can you let your dog be here for two days? I'm sure I can let him eat food."

    "But what lets Dave eat rice?" she asks.

    Jeff is an old man. He lives in a tall building in a neighborhood(邻近社区), in Downing town, America.

    The neighborhood looks nice with many big trees, beautiful flowers. But Jeff feels very bored(感觉无聊) here. He always stays at home and has nothing(没事) to do.
