Another situation when we make mistakes about time is when we take afternoon naps. Have you ever had trouble telling what time it is after a long nap? That's because the best amount of time for a nap is 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you enter a new stage of sleep called slow-wave sleep. If you wake up mid-way in this stage, it will take a while before you can correctly perceive (感知) time again.

Life is better with clean hands

Having clean hands is important because people often use their hands to touch their eyes, noses and mouths. Touching these areas  (give) germs (细菌) the chance to go into the body.

● Wet your hands warm water.

● Lather up (起泡沫) with soap. Be sure to lather the backs of your hands, your fingers, and under your nails (指甲).

● Rub (搓揉) your hands for  least 20 seconds-about the time it takes to sing "Happy Birthday" song twice.

● Wash your hands (good) under warm, running water.

● Dry your hands with a clean towel (毛巾).
